Check engine light comes on
That light has got to be one of the worst inventions ever.As long as your car is running good,no hesitating, backfiring, jerking, loud knocking,it should be okay.Just make sure all of your fluids are fine.Oil,transmission, brake, steering, radiator, fill the radiator overflow to the cold line, water is fine for that. There are so many things, big and small, which can cause that light to illuminate, people have spent hundreds after a diagnostics check and it was still on.You could even spend thousands easily and it will glare at you.If you want to confirm by calling a few shops, they will say the same thing.I have consulted all kinds of people and gotten the same answer. If someone wants you to bring it in and 'have a look',hang up and call someone else.AAA certified shops are your best bet.We have a 1995 car and for years the seatbelt light has been on,the irony is that it has automatic seatbelts. It's not really relevant but somewhat proves that the technology is becoming too excessive. If there is a certain condition which you are concerned about, simply reply to this post and I will get an auto link to it and reply back.
Good luck! Greg
