1989 Plymouth Sundance - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Drain plug on radiator. Can it be replaced?
I know this because I googled for "radiator plug 1989 Sundance" and got a page full of replacement Sundance radiator drain plugs, mostly the one made by Dorman, for well under $20.
If you register for free for a login at autozone.com, you can try and get the instructions for replacing the plug from the Repair Info link on their home page. I get a lot of repair info that way (I have several vehicles, none newer than 20 years old). Other parts stores have similar online help, and most won't let you use it unless you register.
I am not affiliated with Autozone in any way, I'm just a satisfied loyal customer sharing my good opinion of the service they provide.

I have an 1989 plymonth sundance it don't like to
You'll need to determine whats going away to make it quit but the fuel pressure being low will do it the coil or dist. pickup can fail if it has to sit and cool before it will restart then the pick-up is a 20 dollar part and every parts store will have it and it's easy to replace . Just remove the dist. cap tand the rotor and the pickup lifts right out just unplug the connector and then drop in the new one like you remved the old one, put in a new rotor and cap as you already have them off and you did the tune up less the plugs and wires and if thier nasty get them too.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with 2.2 liter and 2.5 liter engine and high pressure throttle body fuel injection.
An intermittent rough idle may occur during cold engine operation,
within 3 minutes after engine start up, in rainy weather and
temperatures of approximately 30° to 50°F.
Idle Air Control Motor (IAC)
CAUTION: The rubber o-ring must be installed with the IAC motor for proper operation.
- Remove A/C motor.
- Install new IAC motor (P/N 4288298) and rubber O-ring, torque to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs).
I would also recommend doing a fuel pressure test to see if it loses fuel pressure overnight.

I have a 1989 Plymouth
This can be the transmission mode switch (on the side of the trans), or worn clutches or bands. There can also be trash in the valve body or a stuck solenoid. Your best bet is to bring it to a transmission shop for the free diagnosis. Good luck!

Replacing the heater core any tips how to
spend 20 dollars and get yourself a repair manual on ebay before you take a wrench to it. it is pre 90s passenger airbag so you should be able to do it yourself with enough time. do a search on youtube, lots of car videos there.

I was driving my car
I hate to have to go this direction but, remove the distributor cap and watch the rotor while you turn it over. If the rotor doesn't turn your timing belt is broken and will need replaced and most likely the valves will need repaired. If it turns do a compression check the see if you have compression on all cylinders and manually check the timing belt to make sure it hasn't broken.
