Removing transmission
Yikes! Well I would drop the sub frame if you're working on the ground. OR you could remove the engine then you have more space to get the transmission. But I gotta ask: why? Why work on it in the first place?
Shifting automatic transmission is sluggish
you probably need to get your tranny fluid and filter changed,your filter is probably getting plugged up,get a tranny flush done at a garage or if you plan on doing it yourself,its a messy job.you need to get yourself one of those haynes repair manuals at an auto parts store or on ebay
No fuel delivery from the tank to engine
First check the fuel pump fuse and relay and if they are good then check the fuel pressure it should be 28-32 psi with key on and engine off.If its not within these specs then replace the fuel pump.

OK, first, I think it may be the alternator. If you charge the battery overnight, the engine should run for about an hour before it discharges again.
I don't think the coolant should affect the wiring.
There may be a fuse panel for the high current fuses in the engine compartment. It should be 30 amp or higher.
