take it to a transmission repair shop before you totally ruin the van, they be able adjusted the bands in the transmission, keep doing what you are doing and you will not have a car.
you just slide it down the window into the door until you can catch the door lock controls and pull up , there is a knack to doing this , as they say practise makes perfect
I am assuming you have it back in. If it is still working, I would fasten the plug to something solid to keep t attached. These things can be annoying sometimes especially working under the dash.
ok they are not going to just go in easy they have notches on them that correspond with the notches they go into. put tire on put stud in and use the lug wrench or 4 way to tighten them, feel in the back to make sure they are seated tighten until they are seated job done.
Must insure belt grooves are correctly positioned on all pulleys and that no pulleys are out of alignment. Use long straight edge to check. I have seen power steering pulleys installed too deeply cause squealing and belt issues.
Boy Danny you sure replaced a lot of stuff ! I have been fixing cars for thirty years on an off , worked for a Chevy & Isuzu dealer also worked for a Cadillac ,GMC ,Pontiac dealer .They sure don't like techs guessing ,costs them money and beside customers won't be customers very long when you guess. In it's simplest terms you need three things for an engine to start an run .Spark, fuel, compression . It's the job of the Technician to test an find what is missing . Test fuel pressure, test spark .test that the fuel injectors are squirting fuel .Watch some of these two guys videos ,they are good an they have a lot . 1996 Ford 150 No Start with ScannerDanner EricTheCarGuy all vehicles need the same things to start.
