Engine stalls, after hour or so engine starts again

It may be gas or ignition related. Try to determine which, when it stalls and won't start. With key on, you should hear the fuel pump turn on for about 2 seconds to pressurize the lines and fuel rail on the engine. If you don't hear the pump, and have no pressure in the fuel rail with key on, it is probably a bad pump. If the pump is working, check for a strong blue spark on a spark plug wire after it stalls. If no spark on any of the plug wires, suspect the crankshaft position sensor or the ignition control module. Either one can cause those symptoms- failing after it gets warm or hot.

Starter not engaging

The starter solenoid mounted on top of the starter has two functions, as the key is operated the solenoid slides the starter pinion to engage the flywheel, THEN operates heavy duty contacts to power the motor. The solenoid is not engaging the pinion.1726daf9-e191-4168-8e99-cab63cae5995.gif

94 voyager is stuck in second gear. no check engine light

if you are not mechanical, or don't have the tools, like an engine horst, to work on this, my best advice is bring it to.a good transmission shop with these front wheel drive transmission, the engine needs to be supported to pull the transmission out sounds like a snap ring broke, or valve body needs a rebuild, it could also.be your governor not building up enough pressure, because when you shut if off, and start it again, your pressure builds up.again these front wheel drive transmissions are not fun to work on, so if your not familiar with these transmissions then it's best to.have a transmission shop fix for you
