Its 105 inch pounds. Tighten the bolts in several steps. when done, check for oil leakage. But.....At this point, its a 2004. You dont need a torque wrench. Its pretty easy to feel it. Obviously dont grind em in after they get tight but once theyre hand tight, go in your order, (middle to out if thats what you like) and tighten them a little further each time. Get it to where if you put anymore pressure its going to go too deep. You can do it without a torque wrench on these. You'll know, but again, just dont go crazy. I never use torque wrenches anymore except for head bolts or something that important. I've been a mechanic for lot of years. Kind of grew up with cars though. I never have ANY issues with any bolts or anything not torqued enough or over tightened. (I have went too far into aluminum on a saab one time but that was one water pump bolt, did the rest a little lighter and it never leaked) But last time, I am positive you can do these valve cover bolts, on a 2.7 at that, without any torque wrench whatsoever. I didn't think anybody used them on valve covers anymore unless the car is like, new or something. You will be fine. But, If you're not comfortable, I get it. Go ahead and break out the small torque wrench and do em at 105 inch pounds. Can you even get a torque wrench on the back set of bolts on that back one? Anyway, good luck and I'm willing to bet that you tighten them a little further than 105 when you see how loose 105 is, maybe not. But, you might not be comfortable with only 105"lbs. Hi Adrian: If all of the electrical components are OK a sneaky problem is sometimes that the engine is not properly grounded. Make sure that the engine is grounded to the frame, and that all of the ground wires are connected.

This means your trunk is open its easy to hit that button on your keyless remote

There are several things to try. First is that you should try a penetrating oil on the threads overnight. Run the engine to get it warm and then remove the plugs. If it takes brute force it is no big deal because the heads need only enough thread to get compression. All heads that are aluminum should have an anti seize compound on the plugs when they are installed. If the threads are totally shot you can use a heli coil to repair them.

Sounds like a connector is disconnected inside the driver side door. The connector is usually located near the front of the door. Removing the door panel could be a job you do not want to attempt, but the car being a 2004 you may want to try. The wiring for the door windows and locks goes through this door.

If the brake pedal was ok prior to changing the brakes that shouldnt be the problem unless you have disconnected or opened a brake line. If the rear calipers are the wind in type and the park brake is part of the caliper, most likely the pistons are not lined up correctly with the caliper housing

first off if the oil warning light is on, u need to check the oil pressure with a gauge with the engine at operating temp. and make sure oil pressure is up to spec. a bad switch can cause it to come on also. on the backside of the engine there is an aluminum heat shield covering the switch held on with 3 15mm bolts. after you remove the shield the switch can be removed with a deep socket. dont over tighten the new one when you put it in.

You need to remove the brake calipers first. The rotors are a pop off type. If they do not come off easily you will have to force them off by hitting them with a heavy hammer in order to loosen any corrossion holding them to the wheel hub.It is a good idea to clean the rotor mounting surface with a wire wheel on a drill before installing a new rotor

This would be a problem for an expert to look at. There are all kinds of variables, the biggest being, have you regularly serviced the transmission fluid and filter? If the answer is no, then, I'd say start looking at the reverse clutches inside the transmission are probably bad. If you have serviced it regularly then it could be a solenoid pack or modulator valve, it could be some bad wiring coming out of the transmission.

Often times it is a loose gas cap. Have you refueled between the light going on and going off? You probably fixed your problem.

What I would do first is see if you can get a bit of gas down the throat of the throttle body. crank it. if it stars then you know that it is more than likely a fuel pump, relay or fuse.

I have no specific model experience but the downstream or diagnostic O2 sensor is generally found screwed into the exhaust system just after the catalytic converter.

Check the operating cable/linkage. If its OK then its possible the reverse clutch in the trans isn't functioning. A trans shop may be able to check the pressures that operate the clutches. Its 10 years old, you don't say how many miles?

If you mean clear codes, you can use a scan tool. If you need to reflash the computer to factory specs it would need to be done at a dealer or with an expensive dealer scan tool by some one experienced with the proper data.

This may be a simple as poor battery connections or a low battery. You can get enough juice/power for the key buzzer but not enough for starting. Try turning on the 4way/hazard flashers or the headlights. You may just need a jump start. Keep in mind that your vehicle may have a factory thieft security system - so you may need to unlock the vehicle again after you hook up the jumper battery to disarm the TSS.

Replace the turn signal switch. Remove the column bezel. Screws on the bottom. A couple of screw to remove the switch. When replacing the switch, make sure you push in the horn button. before you screw it back in.
