How do you remove the rear seat in a chrysler 300M

Grab the bottom seat cushion at the front of one side and pull it straight up then do the same on the other side. (you will have to pull up very hard) The bottom of the seat clips in. once you have the bottom out take the 2 bolts out of the seat belt fasteners that holds the bottom of the top seat cushion. Then pull straight up on the seat cushion to slide it off two tabs that hold the top.

Codes

In 1994 OBD2 technology was installed and used by every car manufacture. The long and short is that yes, you can read codes your self. People still confuse OBD1 and OBD2 technology. The engine light "on" or "flashing" is just an indication that the ECU has identified a problem. The ECU (engine control unit) electronically controls and oversees the functions of the engine. You can go to Autozone or another parts store that will read engine codes. Call first to make sure that they do provide the service. At least in my area, the service is free. The engine light must be on during the scan. You also can purchase a code reader and perform the service yourself. There are many on the market. You will need to research in carefully so you buy the right one. The code reader at the part store only reads engine codes. The engine light will also come on if a failure occurs in the transmission or ABS system. I'm telling you this so if you have the codes read and the reader reads "no codes, passed", you will know that the problem is in another area, other than the engine. Your next option is to bring the car to a repair shop and have the codes read. Ask the provider for a price for this service. It should be between $40-$60. More than likely they will have a scan-tool similar to mine. I run a $10k unit called Modis (by Snap-on tools). This unit allows me to perform a lot of complicated and specific tasks that other scan-tools can not. Also this device allows me to view codes and live data in the transmission and ABS system. Then you have the Dealer. They will be more money, about $100.00 but they deal with only their vehicles. Don't be afraid of the dealership. Yes they have the reputation of being more money but depending on your issue, they may be the best and "bang for your buck" solution. There are pros and cons for all of these options. Without making this topic anymore complicated than it already is. Take a step back, take a deep breath and relax. There is a lot to know about cars but lets just get you to where you want to be. Why don't you think about what I wrote and research this a bit. Write back anytime and I'll do my best to help you. Please keep your questions detailed and specific and I'll do my best. Also it would be a great idea to review your cars maintenance history. When was the last oil change, full/complete tune-up, and what repairs have you had performed recently (could it be related to this new problem). Your symptoms are similar to a few possibilities. You could need a tune-up, the EGR valve may need to be cleaned or replaced, or the IAC (idle are control valve may need to be replaced) may be defective. There are many other possibilities but why don't you start with the deep breath (lol) and let me know where you want to go from here. I hope to hear from you soon, good luck.

Tune up

It does not have an inline fuel filter. Go with the manual except spark plugs, replace them at 100,000 miles.

Broken, Missing Wheel Stud

this is a really simple fix remove the wheel, brake caliper, and rotor. if part of the old stud remains, punch it out with a hammer and punch (screwdriver will work if you have one you dont mind damaging). put the new stud in the hole and lightly tap into place (it wont fully seat untill you put the wheel back on and the lugnut pulls it all the way through) Some cars require you to pull the wheel assembly completely off. for this you will need a hub bolt socket (available in a set from autozone's lone a tool)
