Acts like running out of gas at 1/8 tank then runs ok when adds gas

The gauge may be off that much and it may really be running on empty. You could also have some junk floating around in the bottom of the tank.

My mom has a 98 chrysler t&c and the cluster stopped working now the van wont start again anyone have a solution

This problem must be tested using a special tool at the Chrysler dealer, there are no home repairs that you can do with the tools and the repair books from the dealer or a well equipped shop.
