Why no fuel or spark 97 sebring 2.5?
Could be any number of things. One of the cam or crank sensors, the engine computer, a relay, and so on.
If you get a shop manual you will have the test procedure to find out what the problem is. I would also check for trouble codes in the engine computer.
Overheating
First make sure that the fans are turning on if it is check for circulation of water in the radiator you might have a clogged radiator or bad water pump if that's ok check thermostat make sure that it opens at the right temp some new ones come defected
Fuel pump relay diagram
To start with not getting gas so you changed spark ????what spark.
Go to fuse box find pump relay and get it tested if ok then check feed at relay if ok go to pump check power with test light first and then check power to fuse box.[ if you havent already ].
Bleeding the power steering
Once repairs have been made and fluid level is brought up to full mark, all that needs to be done to bleed the system is 1)start car 2)turn wheel all the way to one side, then the other. Do this a few times and the system should be free of air.
How to change a/c clutch bearing
This car has 2 different compressors 1 is SANDEN and other is CV171 but both require a specail puller to remove the outer clutch hub This puller screws on to the main shaft and has a threaded nut (outer side ) that screws into hub this removes hub then remove snap ring off compressor snout and install a spacer (specail tool) this covers the main shaft not to damage thrust bearing internal of compressor and a second puller can remove pulley. Most bearings are swedge fitted so the whole pulley needs to be replaced this comes in kit with a clutch coil also it is held on with a snap ring also. there are small washers (shims) that adjust the air gap on the pulley to hub set @ .025-.045
Alternator won't drop out
most people I talk to about this problem, they say takes less time if you take off the manifold cover, about 25 min to do that
Electrical short or loose connection
did this problem start after the new alternator or is this the reason you replaced the alternator? sounds like a loose wire on the alternator or the battery post. make sure the battery terminals are clean from corrosion. if there is a hot spot on the wires or connectors that is a good sign that is a loose connection.
Fuel pump relay
Check under hood in power distribution box. Usually drivers side fender area.
Upstream oxygen senser
find the plug unplug it use a O2 socket turn ounter clockwise to remove should be located in the exhaust manifold or infront of the cat teh one behind the cat is the downstreme
Steering shakes at low and high speeds and pulls to the right
If it only does it when you are using the brakes, I would check the brakes on both sides. If it does it without using the brakes, I would look for a bad tire on the front. One of the tires could have a broken belt inside the tread.Could also be a bad wheel bearing on the front.
