Dash lights quit working

The first thing to check is the fuses, as a rule i would check all the fuses, if they all test good then take a look at the headlight swith the dimmer part of the switch may be bad or got turned down by mistake, this is the switch that controls how bright you want the dash light to be, if thts okay then i would replace it. hope this helps.

1995 chrysler concorde abs and

the ABS light is flashing but it's acually flashing out a code, otherwise it's just on to let you know their is an ABS problem. If it's flashing it has a problem that youshould'nt driver the car till it's fixed. With the key off check the brake fluild, it needs to be inside of 1/2 inch from the top, If it's not then theirs a storong possiblity that the system has a fluild leak and it needs to be foundand fixed. The ordinary red light for the brakes should be on too. Does it work? Check by watching for it as you crank the car to start it. If it's working then low on fluild may not be the problem. There's accumulater motors in the ABS unit and valves that control the ABS function. If they detect that the brake may be put on with out your input then it may require servicing before you drive the car ( the brakes could be automataclly applied without your input). This is not a do it yourself job. I'm a Master mechanic and these systems don't fail often enough to get ( this happens do this to fix it ) sure the sensers and thier wires break but your describing a problem the system wants you to stop driving the car till it fixed and I know about thes problems as I was trained but I've not had to fix one. Most of these old Concordes are ragged out pretty bad by the time they're 15 years old an their being driven around with lots of unrepaired problems. A Pro needs to connect a scanner for ABS to your car and he might say something that your pocketbook isn't going to like and the parts to fix it may have to aquired used as some of the repair parts in this area were never made, and now it's old enough their not going to make then per order. Your $800 car might be done.

You have a leak somewhere, while pushing on the brake, have someone look under the car to see if the leak can be seen. It can be anywhere since the brake lines run from front to back of the car. DO NOT drive the car in this condition.

Sometimes the engine bucks or surges on hiway or

Hi, here is the common cause of surges, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Check engine light appears after 30 minutes of

ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS Dodge OBD1 Pre 96

1. Cycle the ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 5 seconds. To cycle the ignition key ON means to turn it only as far as it takes to get the radio to come on. It does not mean to turn the engine on.

2. Count the number of times the "check engine" lamp on the instrument panel flashes on and off. The number of flashes represents the code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses separate individual codes. For example, flash-flash-flash [pause] flash-flash represents the code 32.

A code of "55" represents end of error codes. If this is all you get then no error codes are stored in the computer. This is the normal condition

Break line leaking how to replace

Brake lines of the appropriate size are located at your local auto parts store.

May have to get a torch, line wrenches, and other tools before tackling this job.

Try to change the brake lines as completely as possible, eliminating rusty lines that might spring a leak later.

Good luck to you.

Where is and how to change the starter on a 95'

The starter is located on the left (drivers) side lower engine. You will have to jack the car up or use ramps. Remove battery neg cable.1st The starter is held in by two 15mm bolts. There are two wires that will need to be removed. One is held by a 13mm nut, the other is a push on terminal or held on by a 8mm nut. There is shield between the bellhousing and starter, take note as this goes in only one way.
