1990 suzuki swift instrument wiring diagram back lighting

if the dimmer is ok and 12v to lamps the lamps are bad pull them and replace them. alldata.com has this. the FSM for sure, (fact. serv. man) no schematic ever needed. its just 12v , turn dim to full see 12vdc there, if there, the lamp is bad. if not there. the dimmer is bad, or the fuse to it is blown. check fuses first. the park circuit on all cars is the most complex (big) of all. simple but goes all over car, inviting shorts. and blown fuses. even trailer wiring hacks. ever look at your harnesses. if just dash is dead.its in the dash.

With the engine running it should be between 13.8 and 14.2 volts approx. 11.5 would indicate that it is not charging and that the altenator requires repair or replacement.

1990 Suzuki Swift. there is power to the

Check your connections on the battery and especially the ground connection on the engine...the problem you describe sounds like a bad connection....you may need to remove the battery cables and clean the posts and the battery cable connectors...also, there is a ground going to the engine block...follow the ground cable(black) down to where it is connected to the engine, remove the bolt holding the cable on and clean the area where the ground goes on with sandpaper to ensure a good connection...you may want to do this with the positive connector as well...it will have a crimp connector on it also, and you will need to clean it the same way as the ground connector...when working with the battery cables, make sure you have one disconnected from the battery to make sure you don't short them out

Hi My 2000 Swift 1.3 with manual trans will not

When you say it doesnt start does the engine spin over and not go or when you turn the key it doesnt try to spin and start. this makes a big diffrence, if you try to start it and the engine will not spin to try and start then i would say it may be a bad starter or the battery , i would also have the alternator tested. now if the engine spins over and over but wont start then that may be a few things that may be bad, the best thing is to see if you have fuel and spark this will help pin point the problemto lack of spark or fuel, try spraying starting fluid into throtle and see if it runs a few seconds if it does then its a fuel problem but if it doesnt then it may be spark, this can be caused by a bad module that heats up module i mean an ignition module or can be a bad coil or even the computer but a little testing will be needed to pin down the problem, hope this helps, have a good day.

Hi, Where can i find the

you can 2 different manuals on your vehicle. One is done by Haynes and the other is Chilton. The both tell you how to do the repairs yourself. They are both great do-it-yourself books. they will tell you the parts and tools you need to do the work, where and what every thing is on the car and engine( I use Chiltons myself). you can get them through your auto parts store. You may have to wait a couple of days for it to come in. I hope this helps you, and please, don't forget to rate the service.
