This could be a few things. If the security system was enabled and you just unlocked the door with a key and not using the remote, then all you have to do is put the key in the ignition and turn on/off three times. That's it!Some cars have immobilizer keys. Hi Mr. Wilde, if you were given a code from your OB2 Senor, you can take that code to Pep Boys or Auto Zone who I prefer. Auto Zone will take the code and explain to you what it means. They can also recheck your car or truck if they have time and the correct hook up to check the OB2 sensor or the jack that is located under the dash board. They can then print out for you the codes and the reason why the code has came up and how to fix your problem. It never matters how old or how many miles is on your vehicle. Let me know how that worked for you.
