Won't start

Your flywheel may have some missing teeth, or the starter is faulty, not kicking out the gear that turns the flywheel. Remove the starter and look at the teeth on the flyweel. IF the flyweel looks good, then starter is faulty.

Ignition lock cylinder

Tumblers are not lining up when you insert the key and turn. You might need to call a locksmith. When the locksmith makes you a key, keep this as the emergency backup (kept at a safe place at home) and use the copy made from this backup as your primary key use. When you make a copy from another key copy, the cuts are slightly off. As you make another copy from a key copy, the margin of error on the cut increases until finally, the key cuts don't line up to turn the tumblers, then you're back to calling a locksmith again.

My 1998 Plymouth Voyager tries to lock itself continually after the ignition has been shut off. While driving down the road it is fine. Is there something that can be disconnected to solve this prob

For now pull the fuse for the doorlocks, isolate the security system and shut that thing off. Find a replacement on Ebay but first check to make sure one of your lock switches on the door control panels is not broken or something got spilled into it and is shorting it to lock.

I have a 1998 Plymouth Voyager van that I changed the ignition switch and now the dash lights won't go off.

Is the headlight switch in the steering column? If so you may want to take the covers off the column if you had them off earlier and look and see if you pinched a wire or put a screw in a wire. It sounds like you my have done something when you replaced the switch If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edward_020b3320326d263d

Could a power steering pump go bad at 60K?

probably the valve body on the steering is malfunctioning as the pump just supplies pressure to the body and the left or right valves allow the pressure through to do the turning.. have it inspected by a qualified steering mechanic
