The ignition switch or the key cylinder?

are you talking about a body modulator if so it is under the left side of the dash it has the relays in it and 5 pulgs on it and it is black ok

If it is not cranking then the starter motor/solenoid is either defective or it is not receiving the power from the battery. Did you check to see if the starter motor is receiving power when you turn ignition to start position?

Sounds like. MAP sensor or cam sensor. You didn't say if Chechen engine light is on. No light on check throttle. body and TPS . it may be loose.

It could be switch, motor or wiring. If your electrically inclined and can use a test light check for power. Move the switch to activate and check for power out of the switch. If power out you will need to check for power at the motor and ground as well or you can power that motor to see if it works. Good luck

Not sure about the 1995, but the later system for sure needed the dealer's scan tool to re-program for a new key. The key reader, in the steering column needs to send the right signal to the computer or it will not start. If you really lost all the keys, better get two from the dealer and have them reprogram both at the same time. Around here its $200 to reprogram 2 keys (with remotes).

The engine code number is located on the right (passenger) side of the block between #2 and #3 cylinders. There is a flat machined in the block near the #3 spark plug that has a code stamped on it that give the day the engine was built.

in the bottom of the radiator there's a plug. you can remove it by turning it by hand. you should be able to access it without having to remove anything.

can also be a field wire that comes from the hot block

the back of the cluster has a circut panel on it . look for a crack in it. can be fixed with soder

Check o2 sensors as they may become dirty and give a wrong reading to the computer if they are clean it may be time too replace the catalytic converter

why let a pro install it. the word is spark , if the engine is gas and not the diesel you need spark, to FIRE. (youd have to be a spark plug to see fire) so no spark in the unstated engine option. WHAT ENGINE?> that is called ASD if .... if no spark on all cylinders. your next step is to check all fuses, first. then look at the ASD relay, then see if it pulls in cranking it must energize for at least 3 seconds. cranking,..... do tell? if it drops (ASD) out there are up to 8 reasons for that, less in 1995 http://www.fixkick.com/Jeeps/ASD.html
