Took my complete front axle
you are talking about the sway bar link. this also has a bolt and metal washers. i will show you a picture to make sure we are talking about the same thing, you will slide on a metal washer then a rubber one then in slides into arm from bottom or you can come down from the sway bar then slide another rubber washer and then a metal one next is a sleeve then a metal washer and then a rubber one, now it slides into control arm and then from bottom slide rubber then metal and the nut . hope this is helpful.
MOTOR KNOCKS, RED LINED it .1990 trooper 2.8 v6
If you red-lined it the most likely cause of a knocking noise is a spun bearing on the crankshaft. That means that a bearing has turned inside the bearing cap and is now restricting the oil flow. This will ruin your engine fairly quickly. The bottom end needs to come apart and the longer you drive it the worse it will get. Hope this helps.
Unexplainable engine oil increase?
If you mean that the oil level is getting higher on the dipstick, chances are you either have excessive fuel going in there or you have an internal coolant leak that is getting into the oiling system. Both conditions are serious and can result in severe engine damage. have it checked immediately.
If you are suddenly using more oil than usual, it can be due to bad valve stem seals, worn valve guides, ring wear or blocked engine venting system or an external leak. Not as serious as first problem but should be investigated as well.
I am not getting any
The only two things i can think of that will keep you from getting any power is the main fuse under the hood that bolts into the outside fusebox or the starter wire has no connection.
Where is a coolant tempurature
Hi There.
coolant sensor could either be on the bottom of the intake manifold or on top of the thermostat housing on top of the intake manifold..
Good Luck.
1990 Isuzu Trooper Flywheel needs to be resurfaced
The Isuzu Amigo 2.6L 4 cyl , The Isuzu Trooper 2.6L 4 Cyl and the Honda Passport I believe with a 2.6L all have the same 4ZE1 2.6L 4 Cyl engine in them.
As per this page => http://www.automotix.net/autorepair/mazda-miata-engine_repair_guide-1772.html, found it looking for the same flywheel "cup" (aka we all call it a "step" but the machinists have a different flywheel that they call stepped so the one attached to the 4ZE1 is "Cupped") . Says the cut spec is .157"-.159" , so in this case the clutch pressure plate bolting surface is .157"-.159" higher then the center flat friction surface that the clutch disc sits in. (it doesn't indicate that it's inches or mm but I assume that because most usa machine shops use thousands of an inch calipers and micrometers it's more then likely inches).
Hope that helps you or anyone out there who needed that info :] .
How do you add motor oil to a 1990 isuzu trooper
First I have to know if it is a 6cyl or 4 cyl? If it is 6 cylinder then the dipstick is on the right side looking at the engine from the front.
(figure 0-13). In(figure 0-10)
in this link:
The oil fill is on the left side of the engine, and may either be a screw in or a plug type (though all the "official" parts depts. swear it is a screw in.
If it is a 4 cylinder, then I suggest you visit the
myisuzuparts site to find the right places. I am sure you can purchase a new owner's manual there too.
