how much is a LOT. speed, costs big money, so how much can you afford, nothing else matters, just that. no kidding. that. the choices? first, on engine. then mods to make all that work. and the huge labor costs or down time loss. etc. and last the smog man happy. (or first)

You can buy a workshop manual on C.D. Just type buy isuzu workshop manual into your search engine. You will get aq few websites which sell them. They are only around $5 +p&p and are very good. You will also find them on ebay aroung the same price. Cheers

Check with a Haynes or chiltons manual, there will be full wiring diagrams incuded

clogged , check the rest of your exhaust after cat to see if it gets hot

you can buy a no contact thermometer for less than $55.00

but the shop that installed the cat should have that

check the computer for codes..then check the autoshutoff relay ..it controls the fuel and ignition both..

ck wires to and on your starter solenoid - there prob. grounding out or solenoid itself is bad

your master cylinder is gone. when stopped apply pedal and hold let up slightly then reapply if pedal sinks to floor master is bad

Check the Ignition coil, it;s probably shot.

I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but it's timing or a firing order related issue.

CHECK FOR ANY VACUUM HOSE LEAK,ALSO DOES YOUR DISTRIBUTOR HAS A VACUUM VALVE ON THE SIDE? IF SO CHECK WHETHER IT IS WORKING USING A VACUUM TESTER.

are you certain the right size fuse is being used? If so, you may have a bad fuel pump or a short in the fuel pump wiring somewhere. Check the wiring first and look for rubbed raw spots where it may have been rubbing on the undercarriage for the last 20+ years.

I don't show any switch between the fuel pump relay and the pump in the tank.Only Ford products used an inertia switch that I know of.

there is a sending unit for the guage.but if it has been running a few minutes and gets hot you may need to check the thermostat or water pump.check the water pump by taking the radiator cap off.then start the vehicle,look into the radiator and see if any coolant is flowing or circulating.do the cheapest fix first

Are you getting power to the pump? Does the pump turn on? Just because it is new does not mean it is not defective or incorrectly installed.
