1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
2. Raise and support the front end.
3. Remove the caliper from the anchor plate and suspend it out of the way.
4. Disconnect the ABS sensor.
5. Remove the rotor.
6. Remove the bolts attaching the hub to the knuckle.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal. Torque the hub bolts to 76 ft. lbs. (103 Nm).

He was referring to the steering Rack and Pinion unit. It has rubber bellows shaped boots on each end of the rack to protect against water and dirt from entering the seals

go somewhere else the sensor is at the end of the wire attached to the support or axle stub the exciter is on the hub and will not be damaged unless something drastic has happened , like bearing failure check the brake pads and disc rotors at an accredited brake specialist shop

well scanning it when it fails will help most times you didnt so ..... nor if the TV cable is sticking, is it? the TV is the passing gear cable. and if stuck out, will delay all shifts find another shop. win. if you send all that cash and it still fails what then. is the car worth $1500? if not, park it and get another, and avoid Isuzu, they dont sell them here, now, no cars. why by a dead car company car. buy a JEEP, win. if the trans is bad, the car is worth, only its value as a dead car what is that, $500 , if you can find a buyer, so find a good car, before spindling 2k on this car. econ 101 here, its only a car. not a pet.

its 50 pages long, long into mitchell DIY and read. pay cash. markers are park the park relay is bad. or worse. (bad wiring near same) blowing fuses is far worse is size is correct. (not under sized spec) its means there is a short. and the that grand fuse just saved you a fire. we use an ammeter to find all shorts, got one>?

The problem is in the ignition switch where the key goes there is a sensor that senses key in ignition that breaks and grounds itself causing constant annoying beeping

To many things will cause fuel mileage to drop. First thing to do is read the codes(write them down). Erase them, them read them again. If it a code comes right back, check it first. No codes, drive it for 10 minutes or so, Check codes again. If they reappear check them . Some codes only come back after driving two times.

I read all your posts here is what I see:

1. U spent a fortune on labor already. sorry for that !!!
2. no DTC codes presented, find a shop that will do that for free and write them all down. IS BEST.
3. The spark wells flood on all 14 year old engines , all do, and needs a new felpro gasket set as seen below. valve cover.
4. if 3 is true, the the C.O.P spark coil on that flooded well will be burned up, a new boot is $17 , replace that now or you will get misfire codes on the cyl. if #3 is oil soaked you get P0303.
5. There are 13 ECU's sold for the V6, not sure if it needs programming call ISUZU and ask.
6. If the Engine overheats the trans does too, they are thermally one all ONE. (in 2 ways , the metal and the cooler)
7. The common bad thermostat with a 7 year life span is bad, if yours is 14 years old, and is deep hidden on the wide heads vin8th code W and X but never on Vin V or other VIN engine codes.

those 6 donuts get hard and all leak on all engine with COPS COP= spark coil , over plug. this show the two V6s, with 4 cams, DOHC that has the whole intake removed, to get to that PESKY thermostat. the thermostat is front center, and removed here. They last about 7 years max, not one ever lasts life of engine. thermostats are like car batteries, with near same life span. Invent one that lasts and you'd be a very rich man. BTW I use and IR thermal gun to check engine coolant temps to see if they exceed 170F, if yes, BINGO. i guess this V6 runs at 170f, 10 deg. lower that most cars do not use the wrong thermostat. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1145656&cc=1386637&jsn=334 do not put a fails safe thermostat here , if it trips all that work repeats. a bad bad idle that. on this engine. The same IR gun for $15 finds clogged radiator tubes super easy ask.

This could be caused by a number of things. Does the car have security.? Do the lights go out after a period of time? Some vehicles have a Sensor to turn the lights on and off. Some vehicles are equipped with daytime running lights. I do not think the latter is the problem. It could just be a problem with the light switch. Please comment and let us know if the lights stay or go off after a period of time

Could be anything. Bad gas cap, evaporation canister bad, bad hose, engine running rich etc. No way to give you an accurate diagnosis simply too many possibilities.

If it's an automatic then the shifter is not going all the way into park to activate the neutral safety switch ( miss adjusted or worn bushing most likely) or possibly a bad safety switch.
