On my 02 XL-7 the jack is stored under drivers seat and tools are in the rear compartment under floor!

Are you sure its not a blown fuse? very unusual for more than one instrument panel light to fail at a time.

the heater blower uses allot of amps and often burns up the on and off switch. I have had the same issue with 2 other cars. also.. check your fuses.. sometimes thats the only problem.. the heater blower has a fuse for itself. fuse boxes are sometimes in more than one place on your car. look under your dashboard and under the hood.

verify the brake fluid level, if its low, it may be time for brake service. If the level is OK, then the ABS will need to be scanned for codes.

it will be in the manual. try getting it in pdf form online if you dont have it.

You have to take off the front grill and remove the head light assembly. It tells you how to do that in your owners manual. Contrary to some answers out there you DO NOT need to remove the radiator.

If the car is running fine and there is no visible signs f damages. Then the only thins that need to be replaced are the obvious. Like spark plugs air filter oil and oil filter

You most likely have a leak in the vacuum hose. You will need to trace the hose. If you find a leak you should replace the entire hose.

Sounds lke you have a leaking head gasket
