He might have meant the Heated O2 Sensor, Go to AutoZone and they will pull the code again for free. It's better to get the exact code than to guess. The Heater Core has to do with your Heater/ Climate Control system. The Heated O2 Sensor is part of your Emission Control System.
Where is the speedometer fuse?
speedometers normally get their power supply from the VSS in the transmission
are there are any other symptoms like gear selection problems that you have noticed or cruise control problems
unless you are talking speedo light in the panel in which case it may be the dash light fuse
1998 Breeze will not hold charge
Pete,
Many auto parts stores will check your battery for you free of charge (no pun intended). You may have a failing charging system or dead cell in the battery - or both. With the car running just above idle, and all electric accessories off - you should be able to read 13.5 VDC or more on the battery terminals. Good luck!
1998 Plymouth Breeze Drains the battery
Check to see that the trunk light and glove compartment light actually turn OFF when the trunk and glove box doors are closed. Also, if one of the diodes on the alternator has failed, it may still test "good." With the car sitting, ignition off, fully-charged battery, check to see if the back of the alternator is HOT. If it is HOT, replace the alternator.
Why does my car die when engine gets hot and restarts when engine cooled
Sorry to hear about that. Your problem is most likely an ignition issue. When the vehicle is cold all the parts (including the coils, ignition module) have "shrunk" so to speak. Then, after the engine runs for a while everything starts to expand if you will. When that happens, connections that make contact when cold no longer do so after the engine warms up. Have it checked.
Brake lights are not working on 1998 Plymouth breeze
check brake light switch. you should have power all the time on one wire and only power on the 2nd wire when the brake pedal is pushed. if you have this check the bulbs and then the sockets for power and ground. if you have power through the switch and none at the sockets you have a break in the wire for the brake circuit that you will have to find and repair. the wires run on the drivers side under the carpet.
I am trying to find were the horn relay located
the horn relay should be in the engine compartment relay box. I think a lot of cars have them there now. if you have your owners manual it should tell you in there where its located also.
