I have no dash or

The head light switch controls all this,on this model. The head light switch has gone out.If you will check,on the fuses, marked instrument lps,the fuse will not have power going to it,when you turn on the head lights. To make them work, run a wire from a hot fuse, that is only hot with the key on.You will have parking lights, and dash lights when ever you turn the ignition on.The headlight switch will not control the running lights,or the dash lighting any longer, after you do this. But replacement of the headlight switch will fix the problem correctly. If this has been at all helpful, please let us know, thank you.

Clutch/transmission problem

When the car is sitting idling, and the clutch is not depressed,it makes a grinding noise because the input shaft of the transmission is being forced to turn by the clutch, which is engaged, and even though the trans is in neutral, the input shaft is still turning, and this is called "neutral roll over" noise, and some of the assemblies inside the trans are freewheeling around. The noise goes away when the clutch pedal is being depressed down, because the input shaft of the transmission is no longer turning. So it does sound like an internal transmission problem. It is still possible for the throwout bearing to be bad,and it can be checked when the trans is removed from the vehicle,Remove the throwout bearing from the trans input sleeve, and press down on the bearing flange and turn it at the same time.It should feel smooth and free.If it catches or feels gravelly, then the bearing is bad and that could be your noise. Also, turn the input shaft of the trans and same thing,if it's smooth and free or if gravelly feeling......Good luck.

Pops out of gear

Sometimes spray lube on linkages & bushings down at the transmission & at areas where you see movement during shifting, will cure that, otherwise you may need some new bushings at certain areas. Have someone move shifter while you observe different pivot points for too much slop. (movement)

Where is the alternate fuel door release on a 1990 Plymouth Acclaim?

It appears to have a manual cable operated release already (non-electronic), so the alternative way would be to remove the trunk lining behind the filler and manually operate the catch.https://www.google.com/search?q=alternate+fuel+door+release+on+a+1990+Plymouth+Acclaim..

What is the 'correct idle rpm' in gear while car is stopped for a 1990 Plymouth Acclaim V6 LX with Auto Trans?

The ideal idle RPM (revolutions per minute) for a 1990 Plymouth Acclaim V6 LX with an automatic transmission can vary slightly depending on factors like engine condition and specific adjustments. However, a common range for idle RPM is around 600 to 800 RPM when the car is in gear and stopped. It's always best to consult the vehicle's manual or reach out to a qualified mechanic for precise information tailored to your car's specifications.

Need the fire order to 1941 plymouth 6 cylinder

Firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4 As far as setting the points, they are to be set when the points are at the highest point on one of the cam lobes, does not matter which one. As far as the distributor, the rotor only has to point to the plug on the compression stroke, not the exhuast stroke. The zero mark on the front balancer is for timing the engine for number one cylinder only

I have a 1997 Plymouth breeze 2.0 it doesn't have any spark won't start

If your 1997 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 is not starting and there's no spark, it is likely due to an issue with the ignition system. Here are some possible causes and solutions:

1. Faulty ignition coil: The ignition coil is responsible for supplying spark to the spark plugs. If it's faulty, there will be no spark. A mechanic can test the ignition coil and replace it if necessary.

2. Bad spark plugs: Worn or faulty spark plugs can also prevent the engine from starting. Check the spark plugs for any signs of wear or damage and replace them if needed.

3. Failed crankshaft position sensor: The crankshaft position sensor is responsible for providing the ECU with information about the position of the crankshaft. If it fails, the ECU won't be able to send a signal to the ignition coil to fire. Check the sensor and replace if necessary.

4. Failed ignition switch: If the ignition switch fails, the ECU won't receive the signal to send power to the ignition coil, and there will be no spark. A mechanic can check the ignition switch and replace it if needed.

I suggest taking your car to a qualified mechanic to properly diagnose and fix the issue.
