Iac tps or egr could be bad . find the specs and test them with a ohm meter.

You'll need to figure out if it is fuel or spark to be able to proceed with testing. Could be a relay, the fuel pump, the key switch, or various other things.

The bulb or protruding part always goesinto the motorThe top or flatter round part is all that shouldbe sticking out & then there is the gasket or O-Ring before the cover goes on

did you have the head gasket on the wrong way around by any chance blocking off the oil feed through the gasket for cams

Good oil pressure, but no oil on top of engine could be a blockage in the oil passages somewhere. You might try some very thin oil, run it a few minutes to see if you can get oil to top of engine. Other than that, I don't know, maybe somebody knows of a solvent or something that may be put in the crankcase, like Marvel mystery oil, or a Lucas product, something might work. If a starter is able to crank the engine but it won't start you usually have either an electrical or fuel problem. It's also remotely possibly that it's compression.

If an engine has proper fuel, spark and compression, it will start when you crank it. So your challange is to find out which part isn't working right. Start with fuel. Spray a little starting fluid into the air intake while someone tries to start the engine. If it starts briefly when you're spraying starting fluid, you probably have a fuel delivery problem. That could be injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, relay, fuse... who knows what until you check into it.

If it doesn't start with starting fluid, check the spark. Pull a plug wire and attach it to a spare sparkplug and set the plug on a solid metal part of the engine. Have a helper crank the engine while you watch the plug. If you have a good spark, it might just be out of timing.

In any case, you'll need to start isolating the problem. Find out which part isn't working then you'll know what to replace/repair.

Check for a vaccum leak. Hoses, fitting, anything around the intake.

limited info generic answer use a multi-meter to test and check power -fuses ,relays,switches,wiring ---use an a/c gauge to test for pressure since it runs when [hot wired] possible no or low freon and low pressure safety wont let it run
