Probable answer. I had this problem on my 2004 Kia Spectra 1.6 auto. Though the car was working normally, the ABS keep coming and going. Further check, I found the car battery terminals were dirty and loose. After cleaning it up and recharging the battery, the problem got solved. Hope it works. Good Luck

I have seen this happen when the AC is turned on in humid weather but I have never seen it happen in cold weather. What temperature is the air coming out of the windshield defrost air vents?

Hi Check all wires and connections on and around fuse box with engine running also on and around engine like ign, and earth connections. as the cause sounds like something is overheating or loose. while engine running just tap with your hand up under and around the dash board assy.

check power rely and ighition wireing system including coputer system

There are so many things it could be, but I think I would have it towed to a competent shop and check the diagnostics. More info might help you get more DIY help. Ask him how do you adjust hydraulic tappets which are self adjusting. It is more like failing hydraulic lifters that will not hold oil pressure as the oil thins out. Run fault codes to see what the sensor that has failed that causes the engine to run rough when it is warmed up.

May be your air modulator. Do you hear a clicking sound behind the dashboard?

Could be in transmission limp mode.

Well honestly i do not recommend a test because if you can not recall replacing it just do so it is a maintenace item, also if you do not have a diagnostic tool just replace it cleanly these are not life time parts and fail often. Also probably cheaper than a tow so Eliminate future problems roadside by replacing ok, this unit will cause the car to just die uncontrollably don't want this pulling out somewhere in front of someone.
