Not getting power to stater
make sure that your battery is in good condition, and the battery cables are clean and tight, , if these are ok, then , check the no start relay, and relays and fuses, under the hood , located on the drivers side of your vehicle, these should be in a black box.

Checked fuses, dash lights don't
take out the plastic panel on the drivers side in the cargo area. tucked inside the body where the taillight wiring is you will find about 6 to 8 wiring plugs. disconect all of them (dont forget to mark them as you disconnect each one. put in a new fuse and turn on the ignition. start connecting them one by one, you will hear the fuse blow when you connect the one thats bad. it should be either the rear window defroster or the rear wiper. it may sound like a lot of work, but it's pretty simple. hope that works it did for me.

My front end shakes sometimes
There could be multiple possibilities to why this is happening. If by front end you mean your bumper, check the connection that connect the bumper to the frame. If you are missing some bolts, it will definately change the way your vehical drives. Your suspension may also be shot. Your car if fairly old, so that is not too unlikely. You may be in need of new shocks. I would also check your tires. If your tires are worn and lopsided, it will shake at high speeds as well. I hope this helps!

I have a very high idle at times and a long crank
I have an 87 Comanche and it's the same way. If it ever gets too hot or too cold and won't start, try slipping it to neutral. As far as having a high idle and a long crank time, i'd suggest giving it a tune up and changing out your plugs.

THE ENGINE RUN REALLY ROUGH DURING TAKE OFF OR
i would check the vacuum hoses to see if any of them are leaking, and correct the problem as needed, if this doesn't correct the problem, then i would check the plugs and wires. then the egr valve.

I put a new water
Change the thermostat. Depending on the models it might just be 10 or less. Should sit on top. Follow the top hose from your radiator to the engine and you will see where the hose stops. Right there is your thermostat. You need to make sure you get one tha thas a gasket. Easy thing to do yourself with minimal tools. Good luck

you can use the oil for the towing package in either rear end, but what they want to know is if the rear end is posi track. to find out jack up the back of the jeep put the transmission in neutral and turn one of the rear wheel if the wheel on the other side turns in the same direction that you are turning the wheel then you have posi track if the wheel on the other side turns backwards the you don't. but like i said you can use the towing oil in either rear end when in dought use the towing oil.

My 88 jeep starts ,and its normal for about 1 min.
You may have a problem with the fuel delivery being a fuel pump that's going bad or a restricted fuel filter that can't keep up with volume of fuel needed to keep your vehicle running. I'd start by having your fuel pressure tested

My jeep will idle fine but when I give it gas it
1988 model? Does it have a carb or an injector? If carb then please clean the fuel jet/needle. When this is blocked you have a problem like yours. The fuel is coming for idling but when you need more fuel to run the vehicle, it fails to supply.

What makes a manual trnsmission get stuck in gear
Hi and welcome to FixYa!
This can be caused by a worn out release bearing or pressure plate. I strongly suggest that you replace the clutch lining, release bearing and pressure plate at the same time for optimum performance.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
