Well sir, I guess you learned that can't be done!So, what to do. You have accidentally toasted some of your wiring. If you are blessed, it is only a fuse, but the smoke says you may have to do serious rewiring. Unfortunately, there is no instruction to tell you this ahead of time.In the old days, you could have done this (40 years ago), but nowadays, all the electronics go through the computer, and the wires and circuitry, are very delicate, so any disruption or overload can go so far as to even burn your vehicle up.Here's how to wire up those extra lights. You will need to run all new heavy-duty wires from a power source to a switch on the dashboard to the lights and maybe to a relay as well. I don't mean a relay already in the car, you'll need a special one just for those new lights. All new wires, and be precious careful where you select a power source. Lot's of people go straight to the battery terminals, because you will need two wires to each light, a hot wire and a ground wire. I recommend you add an inline fuse-holder to the hot wire as soon as it leaves the battery. I also recommend soldering all connections.Route all your wires so they don't touch moving parts or get cut by sharp metal.Be blessed

I kind of agree it may be the ecu. but first, look for a green 20amp fusible link, turning into a red wire. Your wiring diagram shows this fusible link is the power source for the fuel pump relay. It is called Fuse Link G. Should be near the battery.

replace spark plugs wires,problem could be ignition timing,idle speed too low.intake manifold vacuum leak,check all vacuum lines on intake check pcv valve make sure its getting vacuum and the vacuum line not disconnected or cracked broken if pcv is not working engine wont run correctly.

I don't see how leaking transmission fluid would be connected to the engine overheating, unless the radiator blew up.You'll need to figure out why it won't start to proceed.Check for spark and fuel pressure, and of course compression.Is the check engine light on ?

Im sure you have but to be sure, Have you checked plugs? Assuming thats done, I'd guess you either have a bad crank position sensor or MAF. I say clean your MAF ( you can buy MAF cleaner at parts store) first to see if it helps. It is a very simple job and it wouldn't hurt to get it clean anyway. If that doesn't help I'd say time to change CPS. Good luck.
