Vin number will be in at lest 3 places. A little plate at the base of the driver side dash. You read it through the windshield. The second place is a sticker on the door frame by the latch. As for frame location, you can Google it or get a Chiltons/Haynes repair manual that covers your vehicle and the information will be there.

(ill run the list that you forgot) the engine will not crank the cluster is dead. the headlights on USA car can turn on with NO KEY AT ALL a safetly LAW here. so the head lamps are dead. this A KEY FACT here. if HL are dead the fuses main are blown or pulled by the smart guy that parked it long term. FUSES ! or battery is NO GOOD. no charger sold can tell you if a battery is good ever. on a full load tester can you do that, puts a 100amp load on the battery and then if over 10v , the battery may be good call AAA and they will do all this, easy as pie. call tow.

Standard transmission feels like it is going into gear but will not move. When it is in gear, look underneath and see if the drive shaft is turning. If it is then you have a bad axle or differential. If it does not move then you have a bad transfer case or transmission.

There are 2 vacuum lines that control your hvac system, one of them is either disconnected or dry-rotted and needs replaced. I was able to fix it by purchasing a 3-way splitter for a vacuum line, bought some rubber vacuum line and spliced into the cruise-control vacuum line. Worked like a charm. If it's not that, you could have a vacuum leak anywhere alone the line from the intake manifold to the evap canister

Are there any codes? When you say has problems running, can you be more specific? If it runs for awhile and shuts off, could be the CPS, if you replaced it with a cheap one, they fail. There should be a code if it's dying.

Sounds like you need to have a leak down /compression test done on it. It could have some badly leaking valves, or a blown head gasket. How does your oil look? How does your antifreeze look? DIY engine rebuild is about 900 bucks.

Nope, that's pretty much it, make sure the slot that the distributor fits into is lined up or you wont be able to get it all the way in without bending something.
