P1616-5V OUTPUT REFERENCE VOLTAGE #1 LOW the PCM sends +5vdc refr, power to many sensors. if one shorts, the voltage drops and this DTC sets. what we do is measure the voltage. then pull those sensors 1 by one. and find the offending sensor. i cant be more SAVVY then that, no engine stated, so .... no sensors to show you. on one gas engine the PCM C2-pin 41 is 5v out. the throttle body uses that. so does cam sensor and crank Hall sensors. or the wire to them shorting to ground. get car seviced, any ASE tech can fix this, he has the same drawing im reading now. alldata.com log in and read. on your engine,...

Pull neg.cable off battery ,for 30 sec.

is this a jeep or and aspen. confusing post for sure. like all 1996 and newer cars in usa;. do a pcm reset, drive see if they clear. (see if they self clear) if not , they are REAL. how to do that , there are 3 ways

• pull battery , neg lug. (radio codes lost. nav lost, trans relearn happens... shift hard till it learns...
• better pull pcm memory fuse. (PCM OID FUSE)
• best, push the reset button on the scan too. rent a tool?

All the codes you have listed are all Network Communications Codes....Possible Computer Failure..All codes are for different control modules at fault...Body control modules,drive motor control modules.Power control modules...,etc....Did you touch anything that caused sparks..?..Was lights,radio,..etc..turned on when battery was replaced..? You can try disconnecting battery completely..Then reconnect...USE SAFETY GLASSES..They could all be false codes if you are lucky...The computer will reset itself doing this...Be positive ALL components are OFF before doing this.....If all is the same codes take it to dealer and they will use proper scanner...

it didn't lie , the fuse is blown find it? if you scan it, that , no fuse ,expands to who blew. can i assume you read the operators of unstated year car? and see all fuse boxes.???? you could just look, and see the blow fuse. or use any voltmeter (key on) measure both sides of all fuses easy, 0v is blow fuse. need a video, we have like 100 s doing this. ever seen a scan tool, plug it in, you buy and plug you rent and plug or any shop in town will, ask them. some fuse look good and are not. that is why pros, use a voltmeter, it NEVER LIES

that is stater failure, (not a part, a system of parts) if it cant crank over, it will not start if transmission is A/T. my m/t push starts and gravity starts. the starter can fail to crank for a vast number of reasons. at least. battery dead, bad or weak ,or discharged battery cable ends corroded, zero service. starter bad. (the part) key line dead. shifter a/t switch bad "PRNDL", wiggle it and then try to crank in NEUTRAL. yes wiggle the shift lever as you CRANK. alarm system cut outs, (non stock alarm?) remote start bs, (no rant, ill not do that...) wiring hack jobs by persons that are clueless. bad wiring bad grounds it the starter case with a rubber hammer , smartly, cranks now? check battery voltage as you crank, if it drops below 10v (11 is better) the baTTERY IS weak or starter is shorted. ( i then whip out my ammeter,, and,,,,,, sure you have no tools.)

Bleeding a power steering pump in general is just by moving the steering wheel from end stop to end stop. Do not keep it at the end stop for a prolonged time, because it will put a lot of stress on the pump and lines. Keep an eye on the power fluid level, because when air comes out, the level will drop.

switch failure try using a scan tool , it bet it has the DTC for this failure the failure is you, not scanning the PCM. 10x that on 2007+ jeeps. or lose.

double posted, gee that beep is very important to you. just spent $150 to remove all my beeps and flashing junk on my 08 my guess is this car is new to , and it never beeped. why not say that.?????? or it just stopped beeping , out of blue? if yes , new car to you,that means the PO, turned it off. no year car stated. so cant look it up. but ask your dealer or any ASE shop in town . some features are programmable by you and some not there is a list for every car. 90% are dealer only. the first step , as always all cars made. is to open the glove box, take out the operators manual and see that page for FOBs, see any options there, sure. read it, in most it will list every thing you can change then state all other things are dealer programmable. on my silly jeep the horn beeps, dang annoying, to me and other sleeping, i reprogrammed all that.

Does the engine runs rough generally? Anyway you have to erase the code to get the engine management to run properly, because computers that's why! It could be because the faults are still there, the ECU still runs with 'faulty' parameters to compensate blah blah... MAKE SURE ALL electrical plugs are reconnected.

Water pumps are cheep and need to be replaced about every 5 years , sometimes less. Change the pump, it costs 40 bucks. Use Indian Head gasket shellac on both sides of the paper gasket. If not it will leak. Clean both mating surfaces. You need that pump to be perfect. The belt tension is adjusted by the idler wheel under your power steering pump. Loosen the wheel bolt and then you can adjust the belt tension by tightening the bolt that causes the idler to slide up and down. It's hidden behind the mounting plate for the idler

THE ASD relay must close to start the engine. The ASD relay must close, and if spark , and up to 7 other things are good, then it will stay closed, if not it drops out. triple posted is your transmission CVT or regular planetary gear A/T autostick option AWD opton CVT option. Gas right? not the Diesel engine?
