How can you bench test an 0xygen sensor?
you cant, you can pretend to.
but only million dollar lab can test it.
what you can do is see if its dead or alive on a bench.
never if its ACCURATE.
4 wires O2.
check the heater for spec resistance, (see makers web site, its there)
it s like 10 ohms
next attach and accurate volt meter to the 2 CELL: pins.
the 02 side is 500C battery. it works only hot.
then play a live propane torch over the tip then well fully hot
the CELL wakes up. see?
then you can remove the torch and see the AIR hit the tip
and the voltage drop. to zero.
zero means lean , max 02.
1v rich
0v lean.
the flame hitting it block 02, and forces rich. 1v.
play the flame back and forth see it switch, this is a sure sign
of a NON dead sensor.
but is all just a waste of time. IMO.
Tod light on in middle
There is nothing wrong with the system. When the TOD is in auto it will only engage the front wheels when the rear wheels lose traction. Newer small SUVs have just the opposite, they are in front wheel drive until they lose traction and then engages the rear. Isuzu was ahead of its time with the TOD system. What to do with a brake booster out and the ABS light came on? 1998 Isuzu Trooper
Hi Rebecca,
Since the AntiLock Braking System utilizes the power (vacuum) boost to operate normally, the ABS indicator should come on if the booster fails. Yes, this means your ABS system is not able to function correctly, but neither are your standard brakes (as the extra pedal effort required to stop will tell you). however, your brakes DO WORK, so driving it to get the codes scanned shouldn't be too dangerous - just be ready to stand on the brake pedal with both feet and leave yourself plenty of room to stop by driving slowly and looking well ahead for stopped traffic. Once your booster is fixed, the ABS light should go off without any special reset or clearing of ECM memory. Good luck and happy motoring!
How to change turn signal on xf jaguar 2011
I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but given the fact that it is a 2011, I am assuming it is still under warranty? Are you trying to change the bulb or the entire assembly? Either way, if you are not mechanically inclined, take it to a Jaguar dealer for servicing. Jaguar dealers will most likely change the bulb for free. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Where is the dipsick for
Hi, I don't believe you have a dip stick on that truck, the check/fill plug is underneath on the transmission pan, the bottom plug would be for draining and the upper one for checking and filling, check only with engine running on level ground, parking brake on, with fluid warm, not real hot, move shift lever through all gears then back to park, idle about 3 min. and remove plug use little finger to check ,it should be up to the bottom of plug hole, if needed add recommended fluid in plug hole with a simple pump or squeeze bottle. Fluid should be a reddish color with no burnt smell! Have a pan and rags ready!
Fuel filter
It runs along the rocker panel underneath the passenger side or driver's side but in front of the rear wheels. It is canister shaped.
