IT'S CALLED MISFIRE, that get a tuneup yet>? lacking cash for shop or cash for tools how can one fix a misfiring engine,? no scan tool either. be impossible. now DTC errors code stated by you. there are 50 causes of misfire, at least, i have a list but nah..... new spark plugs. see those 3 coil packs, put on new HV wires there 1 by 1, DO NOT MIX THE WIRES UP. new air filter and fuel filter,? a tuneup, do that first. is compression at spec. 150 psi or 80? if at 80 the cam belt slipped that belt is a 60,000 service item are you skipping belt changes. EGR DTC errors P1404 1406 1491 1498 which one. each has a different cause. guessing will fail. fuel pressure sure. but no PSI stated or at key on, idle and at WOT for 1 second. (gunned) pump pressure is 3 tests NOT one, infact its 6 tests, buy the book. or more if you do an injector leak down test. one question really can you force engine to have full power WOT> wide open throttle up a hill,? yes..no (right foot aggressive)??? pretend helper cant drive car tell all things the engine does good./bad/ugly all things tells use whats up. hot engine cold, parked and driving flat ground and hills. all things, or its going to be expensive guessing.

It sounds as if you have 2 problems here. The fact that the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there suggest a fault in the master cylinder. It may be that you need to overhaul the master cylinder. ENGINE: ok 3.2L but there are 3 V6 engines. 2 in 3.2L size. 6VD1 (SOHC) free running, 6VD1w (DOHC) belt snap should safe here. gears, put wrong IDK. you didnt de-mesh the 2 cam gears , right? 6VE1(DOHC) 3.5L (not free running) in last DI form. last year. the pump seized its bearings the iT CRACKED the engines power can do that, ! ever heard of DOHC engine before? and interference engine and how to deal with them? seems not. step 8 in cam belt off says "WARNING Align the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets with their alignment marks before removing the timing belt. Failure to align the belt and sprocket marks may result in valve damage." the experts say, all are free running but the 3.5L direct injected engine,but the VVT may have problems too, 2004? never turn a VVT engine backwards. i can not speak for if the 2 cams on one head the gears are set wrong, some heads on some engines can crash intake row of valves in to adjacent exhaust valve. (wrong assemble only) be careful,.

The key line was bad, if you had hot wired any starter solenoid on that tiny pin then in 1 second you saw it cranks ok, ending 2 starter pulls. then saw it green with corrosion, or cramp bad bad or lug bad. they sell new FASTON(tm) crimp lugs in stores with the correct tool to do that. you can make a new wire, and crimp it sitting at a table. then solder and heat shrink it back to the harness wire. this is like electrics 101 here. its just a wire. and a lug,. or do that all laying on your back under the car, your call. all this is very easy, why not ask any shop to do that.

are you asking this 3 times removed? really>???? is this the 4 cam v6 or 2? the 4 cam has 2 gears for 2cams and belt drive. 6ve1 the 2 cam v6 has no gears. 6ve1 engine, they have real names and all run different EFI controls all do. ok no spark (tested the wrong way !!!) fuses good. or not, we test them not guess, on (looks ok) you need to run compression on any engine with new head (or pulled) or leakdown 10x more safe. that be first. you can bend valves on the 4 cam engine (not on 2valve engines,one per bank) forget the 2 CMP sensors on rear of both heads.? spark dead on all 6 spark plugs ckp dead. CMP 1 or 2 dead fuse blown. has 6 ignition coils right, (usa) called C.O.P.'S. i bet you didnt scan it cranking did you if the pcm on the 6ve1 engine, sees cams turn wrong it cuts spark to keep from bending over the head valves the cams must be timed correctly and not in a cavalier manor what's your engine vin code 8th digit that tells the helper what engine is there, as you seem not to know. there are 3 different V6 used here. i see you really didnt check spark, just assumed it. why? extend one cop, use fresh grounded test spark plug omg got spark omg on all 6 in fact omg compression is dead. x6 bent valves. i never ever ever, crank any DOHC engine (messed with like this) until the leak down test passes, by hand with shop air. this act,saves further damage VIN = Y or W eight digit of vin is engine code. !!! are 4 camsl its flooding so, compression is gone sparks gone or it over injecting for some reasons if compression is ok, 150psi + and parks good secret wide open throttle will clear floods, (cut fuel mode ) but all this is risky on any 4 cam interference engine. when i put the belt back (assuming cams not removed) I check cam timing 2 time or 3 times, or risk bending valves. 6ve1 then do the leak down test now, just like you are there. hand turned crank. (at each of the 6 TDC points(skills) opps its got 0psi on many cylinder that means valves are bent. here is the SM quote step 4 belt install WARNING If any binding is felt when adjusting the timing belt tension by turning the crankshaft, STOP turning the engine, because the pistons may be hitting the valves. one can just throw an engine like that back together. they also told you to set cam timing first, before pulling heads or damage can happen, but that depends on the event belt snapped, jump cogs or just leaking head gasket.

Hello jessie. the starters are not all the same what engine is there? here are the steps, posted here 100s of times. gain access to it, means you might need to have car on jack stands, if not built like Olive-Oyl., hehe. 1: disconnect the battery neg lug , 2: remove all wires from the starter. 3: the bolts on the starter are next. remove them and it falls and hits you, duck. some engines, on this car, (non stated) have starter shims. and needs to be shimmered correctly per the SM service manual. on the V6, add these just before step2

• Heated Oxygen (HO2S) sensor connectors
• Exhaust front pipe
• Heat shield

there must be a problem in the sensor of transmission thats why its not responding on the normal drive. try replacing the sensor. hope this helps

asked a zillion times and again no engine stated. we cant guess engines, yet, no photos by you to help no VIN. (the vin engine code tell me whats there, for sure) so no joy. btw some thermostats on some V6 are very very hard to get to. learn that cars are not all the same and that they have different engines some are twin cam V6s. 4 total. here , again, are 2 examples, V6s onlyI think all newer than 1998 V6 are the pain types. next up it the SOB PITA stat note Intake is pulled. stat is bottom center here, housing on stat off. with 4 bolts. got this top intake.?below, bingo on PAIN. that is what is called the giant plenum. (intake man. plenum huge)

Pull the interior panels and trace the wire loom. Focus on the area where it bends with the hinges. Many vehicles are prone to wire breakage here. If you don't see obvious, broken wires, probe them with a voltmeter as they can sometimes break inside without breaking the insulation. Once you've found any breaks, reconnect with crimp connectors and wrap with electrical tape to secure everything. good luck.

Since it is intermittent. Check plugs to the controller and blower.

you asked 3 times must we answer 3 times? go figure. again, you never stated the problem. nor stated what trans is there. so,,, the answer is IMPOSSIBLE !!! is car 4wd or 2wd is the problem with 4wd ? only or just the transmissiion, is the box, a/t or m/t is it reverse lights bad. is it park lockout failing what? we cant guess any of that. ever.
