2000 chrysler lhs wheels/tires leaking air

I have seen complaints about the factory chrome peeling off in the bead area and causing leak. Didn't find a service bulletin for that. Take it to a tire shop let them look at it, see if they can smooth up the bead area. It would only be in the bead area. In the past, I have used a wire brush adapter that fits in a drill to clean rust off the rim bead area. I don't know if that would work, if chrome was peeling. As a last resort, replace the rim. I don't think Chrysler is going to help you?

My 2001 Chrysler LHS started smoking from under the hood when I turned off car and poured out a brown fluid from underneath car...

Its probably old worn out antifreeze/coolant.. HOPEFULLY not oil...you need to contact a QUALIFIED professional...Hopefully new hoses, thermostat, (maybe water pump)and a good flushing will fix the problem..pray its not oil...you will need to have the car towed to the repair shop.. ask around..(friends, neighbors,(google search with GREAT reviews) and do not chose one at random... Good luck..

Heat TEMP and blower problem.

Your blend doors are not working properly. There is small electric motors that move them. Shouldn't be really expensive to have fixed.

Car has been sitting Need to run.

The old gas will cause hard starting for sure as it is 15 years old but if you don't have very much in the tank you can mix in some new gas.

Where is trunk fuse located?

Should be able to refer to the Owners manual for a diagram that details all of your fuses and relays. I don't remember specifically which fuse it is but I've replaced it before using the owners manual.

Changed timing belt and water pump because water pump went out also changed the spark plugs and now after getting everything back together the car is only firing on two plugs.

I hate to assume anything, so allow me to just suggest a couple of things I would check... 1. Are the plug wires in the correct order? Do you know what the firing order is for your vehicle? Do you know the order is on the block as well? You should consult a chilton's manual for your vehicle. 2. Did you make sure to look inside the boot and be sure the contacts are actually contacting the plug cap? If you used the old wires, you might want to check them carefully for breaks or other damage. 3. Did you think to gap your plugs before you put them in? "Pre-gapped" isn't always right, sometimes they get bounced around a bit in handling.

How do I change the flasher fuses

Flashers have no fuses.. they are either electronic or thermoelectric in their operation. They either work or fail completely. If they don't work you unplug them and plug in another one.. The clicking sound is to alert you to their working and remind you the lights are blinking

My 2000 Chrysler LHS alarm goes off hours after locking doors either manually or with remote. Unlocking the driver or passenger door will shut it off but how do I correct this problem?

I do not know how to "fix" the problem to make it right, but you can disable the alarm through the relay box or fuse box. You'll lose the alarm, but can lock the car. Several may be labeled "Alarm and... try to find one that is the alarm alone or something significant, if possible. Not an answer, just an Idea.

My Chrysler LHS 2000 is leaking fuel somewhere. smells inside the car and out of gas when running. Is it a hose?

cud be the tank also or other-get it to a shop that does a leak test-they use a dye then a detector lite--check yourself under car and hood for bad connections--follow any wet areas or try to target a smell

I have a 2000 Chrysler LHS with the 3.5 engine.

Hello Lia, you did all the right things to fix it but there is some thing elise going on ,if your sure that ,thermostat is not in back wards and its not defective (they do get stuck )and fans are running on time the only thing left is the start of a head gasket ,eaven thoe coolant is clear and no coolant in oil, .did you purge all air out of motor, (no joke) you'll see 2 air purge valves on top of motor ,they look like brake bleeder valves, one on right side and one on left side traped air will cause over heating as well. I really hope this helped you in some way . Woody
