I have a 2000 plymouth voyager and I don't know where my manual is. It started snowing today and all the sudden the ABS light came on. Do I need to go get something repaired? I don't have any money if I do, so is this thing serious? Can it wait till I can afford to fix it?
No need to worry, If you need to wait a while to get it fixed it won't make your van unsafe to drive. What more than likely happened is one of your ABS wheel sensors quit working on you. If you know someone with a Snap On Scanner with the ABS reader cartrage, you can find out wich one is not working. Untill then, you can safely drive, just keep in mind if you do slam on your brakes in the snow or ice, they will lock. It would be like driving an older vehicle without ABS. Anyway, no harm will come to you or your van because of the light on.
Hope this helps!

1998 Plymouth voyager 3.3L 3 speed automatic tranny does not shift to 3rd gear when driving.I put it on a scan tool and it tells me it has a transmission control system malfunction and gear 3 ratio is incorrect.Would that mean that the modulator needs replacing?I already replaced the tranny control module and speed sensor.
It's in limp home mode. You'll have to check wire connections and electronic controls. If it has a vacuum modulator you can remove it and look for trans fluid on the vacuum hose side (meaning ruptured diaphram). Double check the parts you replaced as well, especially if they were used parts. My dad went through three speed sensors in one year on his Caravan. You should drop the pan after checking other components. It could be a bad relay, shorted module or wire. The three speed transmissions are much more reliable than the four speed overdrive transmissions but with age and miles things can go wrong and parts will wear out.

I am trying to find a picture that will show me where the Oil Pressure Switch is located
On the 2.4L engine, the oil pressure switch is located on the side of
the engine block facing the firewall. On the 3.3L and 3.8L engines, the
oil pressure switch is located next to the oil filter.
Good luck, and remember rated this help!!!

What kind of antifreeze does a 2000 plymouth voyager use? I lost my owner's manual, but I remember that there's a specific type I should buy.
check the color, green, blue, orange, red, but watch colors closely and if worse case scenario take a sample into your parts supplier and he can tell for sure which type you need per year of vehicle some have silicon silicates in them some dont, the green/blue arent so critical, but dont mix w/red or orange or you will end up with a radiator full of unset "jello"---sounds funny, but its not, then you'll have serious issues...good luck

dash board gauges (speedometer, engine temp, and gas gauge) not working on voyager 2000, light behind gear indicator and odometer not working... all gauges went to maximum, then totally off?? Had transmission replaced last year.
You need to check your main fuses under the hood first and then check them under the driver side dash board.

how do you know if bad and what is the purpose
Any relay can be tested to some degree, but to be certain, just buy an inexpensive relay and try it in there,
The Automatic Shut Down relay is just one of many relays on your car. It takes battery power from the battery, and when activated by the computer, will pass that power on to the fuel injectors and to the ignition coil, some applications also it will work on the fuel pump. If the ASD relay is bad, no injector pulse, no power to coil, etc.-car won't start. When key is turned to off, the relay is not active-I think that may be why it's called auto shutdown relay.

did a small bump fender bender..turn off the van at the time then restarted and drove home. next day go to start van and auto shoutdown relay is clicking..i changed the relay and same thing..go to turn key and get only relay clicks..then hav to take out relay or undo battiery to stop the clicking
The last time I saw this, it turned out to be a bad ECM due to shock. This was a Grand Caravan which didn't have any major damage as a result of the colision.
