MY BATTERY WARNING LIT UP
You prabably have a charging system problem. Have your charging system checked as you may need to have the alternator replaced. Hope this helps
Oil light keeps coming on
You may want to check you owners manual and see what causes this light to come on. Some vehicles are equipped with a service light that comes on to remind you that it is time to change the oil. If this is the case, the manual should tell you how to reset the light if you have recently serviced the vehicle. Otherwise, you may have a faulty low oil level sensor that needs to be replaced.
I had a thin belt break.what does it do? it is not
If your serpentine belt is what is broken (about 4 feet long), it is the belt that turns you alternator, water pump, power steering, and air conditioner. With out that belt in place your steering wheel will be hard to turn, your air conditioner will not work, your battery will not charger, and your car will over heat. In other words you will not be able to drive very far. Go to the auto store and purchase a new belt and put it on. There should be a diagram of the routing under the hood or in your owners manual. It is not hard to figure out how to route the belt , smooth pulleys get the smooth side of the belt and and grooved pulleys get the grooved side of the belt. You may have to put a pipe over you wrench to move the spring loaded pulley to get enough slack to slide the belt over the last pulley.
The oil light keeps on
There are a number of reason that could cause this: bad sensor, low oil pressure, wire rubbed and grounding out.
You need to screw out the oil pressure sensor and screw in a pressure guage then crank the car and observe the guage. It should stay above 20 psi at all times.

the most likely problem is your themostat is stuck in the closed position, not allowing the radiator to do it's job of cooling you engine. Also, check to make sure your radiator fan turns on once your car is warmed up, if it's not on that also will cause your car to overheat. The worst possible problem could be a blown head gasket, in which case you have to take the car to a shop. Now, for the AC issue, you car is designed to turn off the AC system when it detects that the engine is overheating, this is to help prevent engine damage. Once you have the overheating problem solved your AC will work fine.
