Why the diesel and engine oil for together
For diesel to get into the engine oil there is a failed seal in the pump that is allowing the diesel in the pump to escape past the shaft and into the sump.. If it occurring slowly and over time then the problem will be leaking injector tips that are dribbling and allowing the fuel into the combustion chamber and down past the rings . Best discuss this with an accredited diesel pump specialist as the results are detrimental to a diesel engine.
My 2002 Isuzu Troopers Check Engine light and

Black smoke and over reving
this car must be a Diesel as this sounds of a injector pump failure , there are two fine machined plates with groves cut in them "inside pump" after a lot of miles these two machined plates are not so machined anymore and fuel slips by causing the symptoms your describing , pump will need to be rebuilt and flow bench set or replaced with allready rebuilt/set unit to get things back to normal
2002 isuzu trooper looses power on climbing, not responding to acceleration
Is the transmission dropping down to lower gear when climbing ? (automatic only ) Will it accelerate good to pass on level road? Proper fuel pressure, and possible exhaust restriction, such as partially plugged/plugged catalytic converter, are 2 things I would check as well. All provided engine is also in good shape to begin with.
Car clicking noise start wont
