Check the thermostat is operating correctly, the cooling fan is turning etc

take a sawzall and cut the catalytic convertor to open up the exhaust, this will eliminate the need for the sensors, have a pro do it at a shop he will know the right area to cut it out, tell him you are trying to eliminate the sensors there all fixed you don't needem.

This is usually caused by an upside down thermostat, or the system has a lot of air in it. CHECK the radiator cap, if the cap is bad, you often don't pull coolant from the reservoir back in to the radiator as it cools off, instead it pulls in air. The air causes pockets of air to collect in the engine causing overheating and sometimes the air gets in to the pump which causes what we call "Airlock" the pump simply cant pump air so it ceases to pump at all. When that happens, sometimes hitting the brakes hard will get it to pump again. That is an airlocked pump. Caps are cheap, replace it, and be sure that the reservoir is between the full hot and full cold lines at all times. If it starts blowing off coolant, you could also have a cracked head or head gasket. The cap is a simple thing to try first, you have to have a completely full system, no air!

try to go back to when it was working, take out the alarm , it might be interfering with the electrical system of your car

code p 1870 refers to transmission component slipping That can be from dirty oil or a clutch pack or band slipping or low oil pump pressure in the transmission you say that it occurs on highway driving after 2 hours and that slipping will add friction heat to the transmission oil bringing on the oil temp light take it to an accredited transmission professional service center that works on your make of vehicle , have the oil changed which require the pan removal at the same time that will allow the adjustments to be done when reassembled and refilled , have a pump pressure test done

it can be only 3 reasons gauge bad, hah. wires bad sure. sender bad sure. the service manual cover the tests. learn to fix cars, RTM works, on simple stuff like this. or get car fixed. what does wrong mean. stuck E, stuck F, random, , or hunts, what/? no gauge made is accurate if that is the WRONG// (complex reasons)

read the SM yet, the service manual then look at the job see those fasteners, once seen buy the tools that fit, metric wrenches, or torx bits, what ever is there match that. looking works every time. i cant. no job stated, what are you doing?> log in to mitchells (google it) DIY and read?

scan it yetthe TCM must be scannedfuses checkedlevels checked( done right never overfill it or do it like and engine)wiring look ok to it?The TCM is the tranny brainno matter where it hidesand does all upshifting and downseems its 1: dead, or lost power. or has errors.The TCM has many inputs, and if inputs are wrong outputs (shift solenoid) will fail.its just a small computer, and must have good inputs to work correctly and must be scanned first.after fuse checks.

one 2 places on earth isuzu dealer, new or any wrecking year, they have a network ,is used ok? no country stated,so no wreckers stated,

which one, call isuzu yet. in what country books are found , that match your car in your country here in USA< (this forum is that) has books only for USA cars. and Isuzu bugged out now, so hard to get. here.

make sure the battery posts and terminals are shiny clean and the battery is fully charged , check there is battery voltage at the big starter terminal with the starter switch engaged, if voltage is ok starter at fault , no voltage solenoid or switch at fault.

Wayne White wants more answers to this question piggybacker.... post symptoms.same car ?what fails, 1: engine wont run immoblized2: alarm dead.3: alarm trips when all is good.4: does car drive perfectly day and night.5: do all other things work perfect. radio, lights?6: do any cluster lamps fail, keyon, for examplethe immobilizer lamp must go out, per operators guide.we can not guess any of that.it must be stated up frontwhy not start your own post.?with all symptoms. good and bad.
