When starting horn honks once why?
I would think it has some thing to do with your anti theft alarm , do your lights flash once also , is it a factory system or aftermarket.
I have a 2006 t&c did not come with remote or headset the DVDs player came on once but will not come back on. Have hit the cd/ aux button getting nothing
If it didnt come with those items im guessing it was bought used and not new. If so then more than likeley it was damaged and the most common damage is that they blew out a fuse or relay and didnt know how to fix it so just left it that way.
Again, under the asumption you got it used this way, I would check those things. I would also see about doing a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for about ten minutes, let the power drain out. This will reset everything in the head unit. Some head units have a reset button like a tiny hole for a paper clip to be inserted and held down while the vehicle is on and it resets it. Usually you find it next to the cd/dvd slot.
If you were lucky enough to keep or have the manual on hand it will have some trouble shooting steps as well or may tell you where it is.
Finely, if the basic troubleshooting doesnt work and you dont want to take it into a dealer due to the cost involved, you can order on amazon or find a Chilton repair manual for your vehicle at a local Autozone, Oreilly or Advance Auto. Call them ahead of time and they can look it up and even order you one.
Have your Year, make, model and VIN I.D.
With these things it can be a quick fix or a really expensive headache. If you arent mechanically or electronically inclined it can be the latter.
The manual will show you more or less how to remove or install it more or less. Thiss is good to know because it will help you trace back problems. However if the unit just went bad then it will have to be replaced.
Im sort of shotguning the issue here because i just dont know enough about your particular issue.
What is the operating pressure of freon in a 2006 town and country?
Typical R134 pressures are 25-35 p.s.i. low side and 200-300 p.s.i. high side, all measurements taken with ambient temperature above 85 degrees farenheit. At idle, with fan high and system in recirculate mode, you should be able to attain an output temperature at the vents of 40 degrees below ambient.
