The remotes have to be readapted by a dealer scan tool or someone who has Vagcom.  Make sure you have both keys when doing this.  If adaption doesn't take then there is a good chance the remote/s are bad.

usually under dash around steering column and attached to eithr dash or firewall in spring clip to make flasher unit more audible

Foam is from around the vents behind dash and it deterioates. no big drama, just blow out and carry on

ensure that power is at the bulb. check with a tester.

Go to your control panel, user accounts, add or remove account, and select guest. Then it will ask you if you want to turn it off. ;)

to manually roll up the window you must first remove the door panel, then remove the motor assembly, then you can pull the window up.

engine fuse under the hood should be yellow 30 ampin case near the battery

Have a shop look into this, i suspect the clutch is the problem
