How to replace the serpentine belt audi tt
Unless you have a very good working knowledge of interference engines and the tools that are required to keep the various pulleys and cam gears from moving during belt installation I would have an expert change it.

Whats going on?
The hissing noise is normal but it seems you have to either check the wire going to the ckp sensor or change the sensor.

OK I OWN A 2001 AUDI TT ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE.
The Bose amp has probably died. The head unit does not power the speakers. It's located behind a panel in the drivers side rear quarter panel. Do a simple web search, it's well described.

Sony xplod stereo wiring diagram
Yes you need to turn on the BOSE amplifier in the car to hear the sound. The wiring diagram is actually on top of the factory radioYou will need a 12v trigger to turn the amp on. this is assuming you have all the speaker (inputs) connected to the output from your new deck.
