My 2003 VW 2.0 golf uses 51 litres (full tank)

There’s probably a misfire in the cylinders. Have the computer scanned for error codes. You may need a new mass air flow sensor, oxygen sensors, spark plugs and ignition coils. The smell is most likely burning fuel as the car tries to inject more fuel to compensate for the misfire.

2003 VW GOLF REAR door wont open

The rear door lock actuator has failed in the door locking unit this is a common problem you can manually unlock the door to replace the latch if you didn't have the deadlocking on if you cant try pressing the locking button twice so when the car is locked the flashing red light is not blinking ie off on the drivers. Doing this usually causes the faulty lock to release the dead locking so you can pull the inside handle to unlock the door.

Golf diesel 2003 keeps stopping randomly no diagnostic faults logged

When you say shopping you mean Stalling right. If yes then the usual cause is a failing Relay 109 which is the main power relay . The early golf had a grey relay which failed due to dry solder joints etc the modified black relay was issued to elevate the issue. Relay 109 supplies power to these , Glow plug relay - Fuse 32 ECM Fuel quantity adjuster - Fuse 34 Cold start injector Waste gate bypass regulator valve (N75) Change over valve (N239) EGR vacuum regulator valve (N18) Mass air flow sensor (G70) - Fuse 43 Clutch vacuum vent valve (if equipped) Brake vacuum vent valve Relays for preheating coolant (if equipped) Crankcase ventilation heating element The ECM supplies power (and sometime ground as well) for: Fuel cutoff valve Cruise control switch Manifold (intake) air pressure/Intake air temperature sensor Needle lift sensor Engine speed sensor Engine coolant sensor Closed throttle position switch (part of "go" pedal) Kickdown switch (part of "go" pedal) Throttle position switch (part of "go" pedal) Fuel temperature sensor Modulating piston displacement sensor The ECM also communicates to the instrument cluster electronics and transmission control module (on automatics). As a result of this, you can see why if the relay starts to cause power to flicker, or voltage drops, for all of these components, the results can be "unpredicatable" and none of them desireable.

How to remove golf intake manufold

Depends on the model. On the 2.0 it is easy. Intake manifold is in two pieces. Take of the fly by wire connection on the throttle body and the connecting hose that goes to the air cleaner. Then look for the Allen bolts on the upper intake taken them out and make sure you put them in a good place so you do not lose them. Then you need to do the same with the lower manifold and taken the Allen bolt out as well.and it will gave you access for injectors and spark plugs. If you have the VR6 like a GLI or GLX then the hole front of the car need to come off! Not too bad it takes 30 minutes to take a part. YouTube has plenty of videos that show how to take it off. Leave the AC connections in place this way there is no need to recharge the AC system. Then when you bend down you can see the bolts on the bottom of the manifold. These are a one time use and need replacing when taken off. The intake gasket needs to be replaced as well. After replacing my valve cover gasket I spent $800 plus in parts and these were my jobber prices as well. VR engines in general are expensive to.work on. On the 1.8 turbos it is the same procedure you have to take the front of the car.

Vw chico keep blowing gasket of oil filter

There is a relieve valve inside the part that holds your oil filter. It sounds like it may be stuck open which causes too much oil pressure to be relieved on the filter causing it to blow. So this art needs to be taken off and inspected.
