Heater blower won't turn off. Even when key is removed.
I would check ur blower resistor by the blower, idk if u had other problems before this like the blower only working on certain speeds but, but your problem could be the ignition switch and cylinder could be the contacts are keeping in run position
The heater/AC blower keeps running even after key is removed.
Hi that the resistor heater that is shorted out under the glove box remove the plastic cover after that you will see the blower motor and beside that the resistor there 7 32 socket or 5.5 mm change that resistor with a new one saw that problem many time at my shop drain the battery dry when you dont notice it good luck and thank you for using fixya
How do i replace the PK Lamp fuse
In the instrument panel fuse block is a fuse marked PK LAMPS the fuse directly above is a 10 amp fuse ,this is the one you want to check. There is also a relay involved in making the park lights work and the Body control module .The relay is in the same fuse block as the PK LAMP fuse, marked PK LP . Not to sound like I'm talking down to you but do you know what a relay looks like ? The fuse block is Right side of the I/P, behind the access panel. Open the passenger door , at end of the Dash is a panel ,pull it off ,then you'll see fuse box .On the inside of the panel it tells what each fuse and relay is. I'm going add how the park lights work description.
The PARK LAMPS fuse in the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block applies battery positive voltage to both the coil and switch side of the PARK LAMP relay in the I/P fuse block. When the headlamp switch is placed in either the PARK or HEAD position, ground is applied from G202 to the headlamp switch. The headlamp switch then applies the ground through the park lamp switch ON signal circuit to the body control module (BCM). The BCM then applies a ground to the PARK LAMP relay enable circuit. This energizes the PARK LAMP relay, applying battery positive voltage to all the park, tail, marker and license lamps. The park, tail, marker and license lamps are also turned ON when the headlamps are commanded ON by the BCM for low light operation. Good luck !
I HAVE TO JUMP MY
could be the battery or something draining power from the battery,
when you get home, disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery,
leave it over night
in the morning connect it and try to start,
if you do not start it means that your battery (although new) has a bad cell thats causing the charge to drain, take it back for warranty. Dont worry about the load test done to check the battery it'f based on the battery's current charge rate not after its left overnight.
If you did start it means something is draining power from the battery, could be,
1.) lights remain on check (hood light, door lights trunk lights)
2.) device remaining on , check radio, ac etc
3.) the cars CPU is draining too much power.
an easy way to check which one is to remove the fuses from the fuse box under the hood for each particular component to turn them off. or you can take the car to a gurage and have them go through all the harnesses for a short.
2005 grandprix brake pressure sensor b subfault
