Can I use fuel injector cleane in the gas tank of my 2002 olds alero

From what a search showed, that engine has fuel injectors, and if so, yes. If it actually has a carburetor, I don't think the cleaner would hurt anything. You could probably check the labels and find a cleaner that works with both systems.

Problem with an 02 Olds Alero

That could be a tough problem to track down if you have no automotive electrical trouble shooting skills . Viewing wiring diagams for one of the affected systems , an testing that systems electrical circuit with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter when the the problem is there , would probably locate problem for all of the affected systems . They must have something in common , power supply , ground , share a connector in a wiring harness etc.... Learning how to trouble shoot electrical problems is a must ! The Trainer 73 Building Solid Electrical Foundation The Trainer 72 Mastering Your Digital Multimeter DMM or DVOM Mastering Voltage Drop Testing with Pete Meier and Jerry Truglia Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on body & accessories , under subsytem click on instrumentation . Click the search botton ,then the blue link. Check where it gets it's power (fuse) at the top of the diagram ,then check ground location (bottom of the diagram ) For the instrument cluster ,it's ground is G 202 .Then check out HVAC -heat , this also uses G202 . Watch the videos an buy a DVOM an test the circuits , this is how to find your problem .

My 2002 alero starts when it wants to we can drive

You need to be more specific. From what you have, it runs, so all mechanics are in place and working. That probably doesn't change. It would help to know when it won't start what does it do. I would look at some sort of fuel disruption. Could be vapor lock or something. When it won't start try some starter fuel or just a bit of fuel down the air intake and see if you get a response.

I have a 2002 alero and the traction off button doesn't work anymore. Even when I out my car into first gear it used to go off but it doesn't go off anymore. It's getting hard to drive here in the win

If your ABS malfunction this could be a cause. Since it was intermittent until now. That would be my first place to start. If the brain can't tell how fast the wheels are turning then it won't be able to tell if the wheels are getting traction. You can try cleaning each ABS connector, these are the only wires running to your wheels. (2 wire connector plug). 2nd problem may be that (sorry to say) one of your Wheel Bearings are going bad, since the ABS is built into the wheel bearing.

2002 oldsmobile alero timing chain jumping teeth

Not common unless the car has not been maintained. Without regular oil changes, the chain eventually stretches, the sprockets wear, and then the chain may jump a tooth. It is more common with overhead cams, because the chains are much longer and rely on tensioners that wear out.
