if we are talking the 5.7L camshaft sensor is built intoto the distributor. It is replaceable. Crankshaft Sensor is located front of engine on bottom, right at the Harmonic Balancer. it is easily replaceable.
Chances are that this is an issue with the multifunction Switch located in the steering column. This is the switch that the turn signal switch is in. seems most lighting for vehicle routes through this switch and can lead to frustrating lighting issues. You can get these on EBAY and Amazon for around 85 dollars.
You have four O2 sensors in your vehicle. Bank 1 and Bank 2. Typically it is Bank One, sensor Two that goes out from minor oil leaks on your engine. Here are a couple diagrams. Lay down behind your right front tire and look up. Look for cracked wires or burnt areas by connection. You can't always tell by looking. Easy to replace and fairly cheap.
If you now a mechanic you could just ask if he knows where it is. Most vehicles that I have changed them are up inside the dash not far from the steering column . not sure about yours.
Yup, you have a dead short in the wiring, most likely the wire coating has rubbed through and the wire is touching the frame somewhere...I'd check first from the box back, and look for where someone installed a trailer plug, and got the wiring wrong...
Ok so u charged the battery with out removing the negative cable and you heated up your ignition module. Ok lets start with checking if you have spark coming out of your distributor either by the removing a spark plug and grounding with a screwdriver or from the cap. If you have a good solid spark then it is not electrical if you do not have any spark then lets check the fuel and see if your fuel pump is working and had pressure. Also I want you to check all the fuses not just for fuel especially the one for the ECM. then we move up the ladder from there, ok. Good luck.
This problem you are having sounds like a crankshaft sensor going bad. Do you have a check engine light on, in your dash? Have your computer scanned, and cars computer will tell you what the problem is. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
