Hood release not working
it sounds like your hood is broken. you need to see if it is broken at the hood or inside the van. you need to pull off the kick panel it might have some screws in it. pull it off and look AT THE HANDEL SEE IF THE CABLE IS ATACHED. IF NOT TAKE A PARE OF PILLERS AND PULL ON THE CABLE. IF THE CABLE IS ATACHED THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY TO UNLOCK THE HOOD FROM UNDER THE VAN BY REACHING UP BEHIND THE RADATER AND FEEL IF THE CABLE AND TRY TO PULL THE CABLE RELACE. YOU MAY HAVE TO JACK UP THE VAN AND PUT IT ON JACK STANDS.

It means too much O2 in the exhaust gas. It could be a leak between the engine and catalytic convertors in the exhaust pipes, bad sensors (they are in a very hot place and do go bad), bad catalytic convertors, and a few other problems. If you don't want to go to a qualified mechanic to find the exact reason, you can start with the cheapest repair and work your way up to the most expensive repair.
A reputable muffler repair shop is a good place to go since most of the causes for these codes are part of the exhaust

P0741 Ford - Torque Converter Clutch Mechanical System
The Engine Control Module (ECM) detected excessive transmission slippage or no TCC solenoid operation. Check the transmission converter clutch selonoid. can be low on transmission fluid, clogged filter.
