It depends on the spark plugs that have been used. Some are pre gapped, some have three preset side electrodes around the edge. no engine told 2.3,3.0,4.0 , gas or diesel not told seems diesel is 1995 and in South america's only. no vin told. if it has one, (the speed control version yes, and no speed control NO relay. bench test the horn yet or hot wire it in place , actual horn or ground to the horn is bad as all are that old dead horn fuse 8 is first. if blown horn will be dead. I guess speed controls means CRUISE.? the steering wheel has cruise there is a relay if not , such relay is there. proof below. (solid proof) left side is cruise right is non cruise opted car. Service manual drawing. no engine told and matters. wiring always does on different opted engines. here is speed control words.? service manual SM. Modern name is ISC "On vehicles equipped, the DC motor/idle speed control actuator is mounted to the fuel charging assembly. This component controls the idle speed, including such functions as high cam rpm, anti-diesel shut off, dashpot and pre-positioning the engine fuel charging assembly for restart. This control actuator is driven by the EEC-IV system, which includes an integral idle tracking switch". bad fuse F8 OR WRONG SIZE USED, AMPS WRONG.,MISSING HORN FUSE IS 20AMPS IIRC. bad slip rings bad horn switch. bad relay if fitted both horns bad. both horns 1 ground are rusty , horns work benched tested GOOD LUCK

Not turning over at all? No noises, no clicks when you turn the key? Flat battery? When did you drive it last?

You didn't post your engine size so please pick the one that works for you....I'll post them all separately:

2.3L Engine The oil pumps are not serviceable. If defective, they must be replaced.

1. Follow the service procedures under Oil Pan Removal and remove the oil pan assembly.
   
2. Remove the oil pick-up and tube assembly from the pump.
   
3. Remove the oil pump retainer bolts and remove the oil pump.
   

To install:

1. Prime the oil pump with clean engine oil by filling either the inlet or outlet port with clean engine oil. Rotate the pump shaft to distribute the oil within the pump body.
   
2. Install the pump and tighten the mounting bolts to 14-21 ft. lbs. (19-29 Nm)
   

WARNING Do not force the oil pump if it does not seat readily. The oil pump driveshaft may be misaligned with the distributor or shaft assembly. If the pump is tightened down with the driveshaft misaligned, damage to the pump could occur. To align, rotate the intermediate driveshaft into a new position.

1. Install the oil pick-up and tube assembly to the pump. If there is a gasket between the pump and the pick-up, use a new gasket when installing.
   
2. Install the oil pan as previously described.
   

Idle air control valve

Your distributer may be going bad.

I am a Ford dealer Tech and this is what cures this issue most of the time.

, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Have you charged the ac. If so check the low limit sw. on the dryer it will cut the power to the compressor if the charge is low or if the sw. fails.

Put the truck on a lift and inspect for loose worn parts is the only real option here.

The "check engine" light is on to tell you that there is a trouble code stored in your truck's computer. Most parts stores will read the codes for you for free. Get that done, and you will know what part to replace.

More info would be helpful, but just going on what you said, I would guess your brake lights fuse is blown. The running lights and the brake lights are on different fuses, and when you turn the headlights on the rear running lights turn on as well, which you may be confusing with the brake lights. If you check and the fuse is not blown, I suspect you may have changed or had the brake lights changed recently and the bulbs were the incorrect ones. Hope this helps.
