The clutch switch is designed to prevent vehicle from accidentally engage the starter unless the clutch pedal is depressed. (It is the equivalent to the Neutral Safety Switch for automatic transmissions.)

Pressing the clutch pedal by itself will NOT activate the starter unless the key is in the RUN position.

Check your ignition switch. it may be stuck on RUN.

Sounds like either a batt or relay issue. Check the charge on the battery. If all is well, check the starter relay.

It could be true. What he meant by this description is an engine valve is hitting the top of a pistion, causing interference when you attemp to turn the engine over. This is caused by either a defective/broken timing belt, or the timing belt jumped from the correct timed position.

if everything seems okay then replace the wheel bearing. Sometimes they will make all kinds of noise and you thinks it's coming from some other part. Replacing them after 90,000 only if they are giving you a problem which in this case it sounds like it's giving you a problem.

Replace your temp sensor sending unit ($36 @ NAPA) - this will solve the problem.

You need to undo the door trim (difficult at closed door but no other way) and replace the door opener cable

Nope, there is an automatic adjustment device at the clutch pedal. If the clutch only operate when the pedal is near the floor and you have about 150000 km you might need a new clutch.check the device at the pedal first for broken teeth, otherwise replace the clutch including the clutch bearing

i need to know wich engine you have. if it is an 1,6 or 1,8 litre zetek or 16 v check the sensor at the gearbox

you have to undo the instrument cluster, the buzzer is straight behind. you need a phillips screwdriver to undo the screws above the speedo ( 2 of them) pull the trim straight out, the lower side is with clamps. 4 phillips for the instruments, then grab behind to catch the speedo cable, squeeze it at its bigger ends and pull it off. Turn lights on, open the door and you know where the fellow is. pull the plug , done. If it is your first time, good luck with the speedo cable.

If the brakes get softer when you pump them it sounds like a master cylinder problem... but first I'd check all the brakes and bleed all 4 as well. it's free and only slightly time consuming. Replace any bad pads as necessary. If all else fails, replace the MC

unfortunately you will need a hydraulic press to press it out.

either the alternator is on the blink or the wiring is building up a high resistance

if its overheating could be ur head gasket check to see if your engine oil nd antifreeze are mixing or if your getting white smoke out tail pipe

Check to see if you hear fuel pump come on when you turn key on. Also check to see if you have spark coming from plug wires

remove the engines oil cap and look at the inside of the oil cap.
If it has an amount of gel like pudding I call it inside the cap YOU DO have a coolant leak for it is mixing with your engine oil
