My 1990 bronco2 clutch went out so I replaced everything clutch kit slave cylinder an line the master pump an everything I've bled the lines an still can't get all the air out any tips

If you don't have shop equipment to pull the air out by vacuum or a pressure type to push it out. My back yard technique that works is to hook a hose that fits your brake caliper bleeder in the front and hook it to the slave cylinder at the clutch. Leaving the bleeder open on the slave cylinder, have someone step on the brakes, then slowly open the bleeder on the caliper. It will push the air up and out into the clutch master reservoir. Just make sure that caliper fluid is clean and that you don't let brake master run dry. And make sure hose fits bleeders tite. Has always worked for me. Good luck.

My car will not stay turned over. after making the pump put gas into the engine 20 times it'll start for about 2 seconds and then die down.

first take starting fluid and spray it into the throttle body while someone starts the engine if it keeps running while your spraying the fluid into the throttle body then you must check the relay change with a new one if same condition then the fuel pump is not working check the fuse if that's good and the wires going to the pump are good and the fuel pump is good then go to the idle air control or the throttle position sensor but I think your fuel pump is the issue here or fuel delivery is not happening

Drive train locked up while driving in 5th gear. Vehicle would not move unless clutch was engaged will in neutral.

Hi Tom: If you're lucky, a linkage has become disengaged. Trace from the gearshift to the transmission. What happens to the gearshift lever when you try to shift? If it won't move and the linkage is not disconnected, try to manually move the shift levers where they enter the trans. Also if you have a custom shifter it is possible that a pin has slipped. Have fun chasing this one.

How do you get hose off fuel regulater?

It takes a special tool. It is Ford's way of getting more people into their dealer service departments which is where they really make the money [Ford learned this trick form General Motors in the 1950's but hasn't even come close to the number of special tools needed by GM or most German cars] See the enclosed links for some pictures, you can measure the size yoou need and pick one up at your local auto parts store.

Got no fuel pressure will not start

When Ford Went to fuel injection on the 2.9 L V-6 they manufactured them with two fuel pumps.Pump number one is located in the fuel tank on a hanger complete with fuel gauge sending unit. This pump is used for volume.Fuel pump two is located on the drivers side almost directly under the drivers floor pan area nestled inside the frame. This pump is used for high pressure that is required for fuel injection.Your problem may lie in the pressure pump. Also the 2.9 L has a vacuum controlled pressure regulator that is located on the right hanf topside of the engine towards the backof the intake plenum on the fuel rail.It has two screws mounting it and is round with one single preformed vaccum line going to it.These have a filter screen that can become cloggedand be pushed into the regulator restricting fuel flow or the diaphragm just wears out.Check these three things out and ill bet you be running in no time. The bronco II`s also have two fuel filters one mounted on the drivers side mid vehicle nestle within the frame check it also.Well I hope this helps. Good Luck...........
