Could be a bad ground. Check the black wire coming from the fuel tank. There is one for the pump and one for the gauge. If the grounds are good, then it will be the sending unit. That is located inside the tank and will need to be changed. That sending unit also has the fuel pump attached. Involves removing the fuel tank. Be sure to run it almost empty before working on it.

IS this a one time issue? IF so when the battery dies and is jump started, the voltages can be spiked or sag and this causes issues with the electronics in the boards. When you pull the fuse and put it back you are resetting it and not letting drop or sag or spikes happen. If the issue keeps happening then you need to look at for issues with bad connections on the boards or the BCM

You wull have to drill out the rivets and replace them with short bolts. Sometimes the bolts come with the new motor. didnt specify year of vehicle most relays for tahoe is under hood and at side of dash on drivers side -- turn key to on and listen for hum of pump no hum try starting with starter fluid if starts test for power to connections ,pump and relay if power more than likely pump shot

This is something best done by a qualified repair shop . An yes it can have two different problems , not related ! Blower motors do go bad , or a control processor . Does it have manual or automatic HVAC . It would be to your benefit to have someone like this guy diagnose the problem . This is not for a rookie to try ! Diagnosing rear problems

If he had it started two times without the key , i would think it was the starter either . Do you an the guy who replace the ignition switch know how the starting system on your tahoe works ? Do you know what a neutral safety switch is ? Try moving the gear shifter to neutral an see if it starts then . That is if your tahoe has a automatic transmission . When you turn the key to the start position this sends a voltage signal to the PCM - engine computer which inturn will energize the starter relay , closing the contacts sending B+ voltage to the starter solenoid , spinning the engine over . Using a factory scan tool you would be able to see if that start signal from the ignition switch is making it to the PCM . Also would be able to energize the starter relay with the scan tool to see if the computer can energize the starter relay . You could also do testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter . Find the PCM an connector 2 pin #59 , this is the circuit for start from ignition switch . Have someone turn the key to start , is there B+ voltage ? Find the starter relay in the under hood fuse box, pull it out an look on the bottom . You will see four sets of numbers 30 , 87 , 86 , 85 . If you take a piece of wire an jump 30 an 87 in the fuse box the starter will crank the engine , or spin the engine . If you do that and it won't start , cables , connections or the starter is the problem .

Method 1 - No Tools Required, Program All Transmitters Important: All transmitters which are to be recognized by the PDM must be programmed in a single programming sequence. When using this program method, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.
The order in which the transmitters are programmed will determine its numbering position within the PDM memory. The first transmitter programmed will be transmitter #1, and the second transmitter programmed will be transmitter #2. The number stamped on the transmitter case is for reference only; #2 can be programmed as #1, or vice versa. Additional unnumbered transmitters are also available.

1. Close all the vehicle doors.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Press and hold the door unlock switch.
4. While holding the door lock switch in the unlock position, cycle the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF.
5. Release the door unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock to confirm the program mode.
6. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of approximately 15 seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of that transmitter.
7. Repeat the previous step to program up to 4 transmitters.
8. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position in order to exit the keyless entry transmitter programming mode.
9. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

It's a circuit breaker. The voltage to the circuit breaker is hot all the time, so check for voltage at the circuit breaker. Use a test lite or something. See the orange wire, check the wiring harness on hinge side of driver door, the wire harness will have a protective rubber boot covering of some kind, pull the boot back far enough to check the orange wire for voltage. If it has voltage, the problem may be inside the door?
