Throttle sticks at times ?

You probably need to clean your throttle body. The best way to do this is to remove the throttle body from the engine so the back side of the throttle plate can be thoroughly cleaned with throttle body cleaner and a nylon brush.CAUTION: DO NOT use a wire brush on throttle body components. DO NOT use any solvent containing methyl ethyl keytone. This type of solvent can cause severe damage to sealed bearings and other parts of the throttle body. DO keep the throttle body cleaner away from the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the idle air control (IAC) as much as possible or remove these items from the throttle body before cleaning.

Brakes apply when traction control is activated, can't move in bad weather.

If you were on very slick ice, chances are that you probably would not have been going anywhere but in the ditch (or worse) if the traction control had failed to apply. The only thing I can suggest is to accelerate much more slowly to avoid spinning your wheels to get moving when this happens. In spite of the fact that it was obviously very inconvinient for you, your traction control system probably saved you some severe vehicle damage, an expensive tow bill, and maybe even your LIFE!The only other thing I can suggest is to stop fussing about it long enough to count your blessings! It is apparent that you made it from point [A] to point [B] and lived to tell about it!....and if there was no other damage in the process, you were one of the lucky ones! I'm sure that there are several hundred people out there that would be very happy to trade places with you right now.

I have a remote starter in my car and the car wont

if its an aftermarket remote starter bypass the remote start or you can take it to a best buy garage have them look over the wiring. If its a factory take it to a GM garage. If you are good with these things look over the schematics of the remote starter you have installed it may be a resistor issue.

2005 Buick PA, Can

Hi there,

TPM - it is possible to deactive this circuit, but not recommended.

Firstly, it's important you understand the importance of the TPM system.

This is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning and is an easily misunderstood symbol. The light comes on when the inflation on one of the tires is down 25% or more. In most cases, that will be about eight pounds.

This is a common warning light in the fall and winter when outdoor temperatures are reduced, which has the effect reducing the pressure in your tires. A single leaking tire will trigger the light as well. Remember that the spare may be part of the system and its pressure should be checked.

The upshot here is this: If your are at high speed, reduce your speed.

If the tires do not seem to be visually low, it is likely it is safe to proceed to the nearest service station. The system will tell you when a tire is low, yes, but if one of them is leaking quickly, you can potentially lose control of your vehicle.

The TPM system is a function of your vehicle's BODY COMPUTER. If you must have this system disabled, you can either remove the TPM fuse (if it is an independent circuit) or, have your local Buick service agent deactive this function using their factory diagnostic tool.

STABILITY CONTROL - this system works in conjunction with your ABS and in most States, is an MOT requirement. For this reason, this system should not be deactivated.

If the Stability warning light is illuminating, then it is signalling a problem within the Brake/Stability system. Your local Buick dealership will be able to scan the vehicle computer for fault codes, to determine the cause of this condition.

Cheers,

Buick par Ave engine code p0134 ckt no activity

If the O2 sensors are already replaced, but still the same problem is coming up, then its problem with ECM( engine control module) Also known as cars computer.------- The o2 sensor ground is controlled by ECM.If ECM itself is not seeing the o2 sensor, then this problem will not get resolved.------- The ECM needs to be taken out and inspected and replaced, if checked faulty.Professional auto parts store deal with ECM scanning and testing. The ECM located in the air filter box. Open the hood and then take the screws off the air filter housing. The you can see the computer. On some Buick models it's under dash. Its black or silver color square shaped module, with lots of wire connectors conected to it.--------
This module needs to be tested and replaced.---------
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

The part where you say that sometimes the car acts like it dont want to crank has me thinking your problem might be with the battery terminals. Check and make sure they are clean and tight. This would be where i would start diagnosing this problem from what you described.
