Hi, I have 2005 Neon SXT which was running fine the other day. I went out to start it this afternoon and it starts fine but dies immediately after. If I floor it, the car won't die but I have to keep my foot on the gas otherwise it will.
I have no check engine light or codes, and it was running fine the other day, so I'm a bit stumped. All electronics come on and it's got plenty of fuel. I checked the engine and nothing looks out of the ordinary either and no fluids under where it was parked.
Any ideas?
It is the Intake Air Control motor (IAC Motor). Replaced mine and have not had any other problems.

2005 dodge neon sunroof opened with normal operation, would not close, think the sunroof motor is out, is there a way to manually close the sunroof?
If the motor is stuck, you can probably hold the switch to the forward position, and smack the roof. This may allow the motor to start working. I don't think there is any way to do it manually.

I started hearing a slight screeching noise that seems to be coming from the front tire on the driver side WHILE I'm driving. I know Dodge makes poor quality brakes and it screeches when I brake. But now it has started screeching while I'm driving. The noise doesn't happen continuously. It stops, then starts up again. I only started hearing this noise yesterday but I want to fix it before it gets worse. I drove the car 180 miles 4 days ago and 180 miles back 3 days ago (if that possibly might explain wear and tear on something). Is it the brakes? Or maybe the rotors? Please help!
The high pitch sound may come from the brake pads as metal parts hit the disc to signal the owner that it needs change. The metal parts gets exposed when the pads have worn out. The brake also has a hub to cover the disc. See if the metal plate is hitting it but this issue would appear when the wheels are in motion. Check if it is the belts, have the tension checked out. Other than that the bearings are the other items on your wheel that could cause a high pitched sound when you car is in motion.

how to replace an engine mount on dodge neon 05
There are 4 motor mounts on a Neon. You need a jack to support the bottom of the motor with a block of wood on it. 2 are easily replaceable, but there is one that goes to the middle of the front of the engine that is tricky, plus the transmission mount is accessed after removing several components, like the battery and tray. It may be better to have a professional take care of those "tricky" mounts.

Where Do I start with a P0016 code on my 2005 Dodge neon (2.0L)
P0016-CRANKSHAFT/CAMSHAFT TIMING MISALIGNMENT
Does the car run? If it doesnt run it may have slipped time.If it does run, use a scope if available and check for a weak or erratic signal from the cam and crank sensors. The cam sensors routinely go out on these cars but a bad crank sensor can cause the code also.
