Get a professionally rebuilt pump. Don't try to mess with rebuilding yours, it isn't worth it. I know the rebuilt pumps are high ($450) plus, but it will pay off in reliability and performance.

It could be a clogged fuel filter, I would change that and throw a bottle of STP Super Concentrated Fuel Injector Cleaner in your tank. When a vehicle sits for a long period of time the fuel inside of the tank and lines gets gummy and forms varnish deposits on and in parts. You want to make sure you clean all of that out so your car does not have any issues in the future.

You have the bosch CIS fuel injection system, it's a cold start issue which may point to either a bad fuel pump check valve OR an issue with the warm up regulator.

You will need a special $$$$$$ fuel pressure guage to check ALL the pressures and then you will find the exact cause.

VERY expensive parts and labor is just as expensive.

lift up on the round plate in the air box with key on if fuel squirts from injecters the dist.should be ok enough to run for the fuse block diag i would get a haynes manuel or go ask dealer for a copy

pull out oil dipstick and see if it is over full. might have gas smell to it, if it does then the engine is flooding. also might be antifreeze getting into oil, this will cause gunk to build up. good luck

Fuel Air sensor is the most likely cause, but can be other things.
