Does the engine crank ? If so do you smell gas ? If you smell gas you have a spark problem. If you do not have any fuel coming up then check the fuel filter and fuel pump. Let me know.
you can get guide from many sites.. i know few
error codes/ fault codes, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, torque specs, engine info, switches functioning, assemble, disassembly, complete refurbish, repair, installation every single thing is covered
within seconds u can get the access and it's totally illustrative complete

Do you know what a electrical wiring diagram is ? How to use one to pinpoint areas in a electrical circuit for testing ,using a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter ? Do you know what makes up an electrical circuit ? Battery positive side of the circuit an the ground side of the circuit .

Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb/ Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine . Under system click on body & accessories . Then under subsystem click on wiper / washer .Click the search button then the blue link Pick one thing to test an you may find the problem for both . Could be a bad ground , shared power supply etc..... Look at the diagram for the wipers i see the GEM - generic electronic module controls the wipers ,using relays . Looking at lighting under system ,then courtesy lamps under subsystem i see the lights are also controlled by the GEM . Your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop.
What engine does yours have ? 3.8 or 4.6 Do you have a professional type scanner that will show sensor data parameters ? Is the check engine light on ,or anyother light's ? Wrench symbol .
012 Idle Speed Problems Idle Speed Wrong I know yours only dies when put into gear , idles fine in park an neutral . Just showing what scan data is , if your not familiar with it. With the problem your having it's a necessity to have a scan tool that can view data pid's . You could spend a lot of buck's just replacing part's on recommendations from people on here . Testing an not guessing is the way to find the problem .
This website www.reliable-store.com has the largest collection of repair, service, parts manuals of any
vehicle on earth. Best website I came across for manuals.. Very helpful website
What you say does not make sense. Starter/solenoid works off the car, but only the solenoid works on the car? Is your ground wire from battery to engine loose? Both solenoid and starter use the same ground wire...?
-Yes it has a relay.
-But base on what you said seams like the switch is not working properly. or bad ground on the effect side.
-Here some basic to check:
-Check the power at the motor of the effect side. If power present there then check the ground side for continuity . If No continuity at all then need to redone ground.
-If there is power there and ground is good then check the motor
in " Ohm " and then check the good one to compare. If it's too high or too low then I will replace the motor.
Good luck
Mai
heres a Schematic for you each coil has a different color for signal side from ecm . but all share power supply source. Ecm sends Negative pulses to individual coils to create spark. good luck

If transmitter is not available or malfunctioning locate alarm module usually under dash near steering column. disconnect the long connector containing 10-16 wires color of connector is usually natural. only this one. any other will require rewiring starter signal circuit. if you repair or locate transmitter simply reconnect connector to alarm module to re activate system. attached is a common alarm illustration.
