2002 crown victoria blower fan quit. All speeds

There is a module on the fire wall of the passenger side engine bay. It's a $20 part. it is just below the heater core hoses that go into the firewall (2 of them, easier access by removing, watch for antifreeze spill) there will be a rectangular plastic piece with a plug coming out of it approximately 3-4 inches wide with 2 screws. use a 7mm (i believe) socket to remove. This is a "BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR" order from ford or online, replace the resistor by unplugging the old one and putting in the new one. Watch for burnt cracked plugs. You may need the plug too, but if you can get around it, just hard wire it directly in place where the pins line up.

My battery gets drained every time I turn the car

First thing to do is have the Battery tested. They will usualy do it for free at autozone or advanced auto, etc. If the battery has a dead cell it may start the car after sitting all night, or be dead in an hour. If the bat is good then you need to start checking for an electrical short.

2001 crown victoria running find when started.

Check and make sure your battery connections havent been compromised. I once drove a car not at all similar to yours, but experienced the same problem, random killing, especially when braking, and turning. It turned out that the battery positive cable would slip on the terminal as it wasnt secured tightly. It sounds simple, but it is a possibility.

2002 crown vic. fan blows but no heat

this problem is caused by either a broken air temperature control blend door shaft and/or a defective electronic blend door actuator motor, the blend door is the part that blocks or mixes the air streams from the heater core and the AC evaporator core (cold air), hence the name blend door, to check the blend door and replace the actuator you must remove the entire dash assembly this requires a high level of mechancial. skill, it is an 8 with 10 as the most difficult, u will ABSOLUTELY need a factory repair manual, not Haynes or any other manual like it, a factory Ford manual, u can find those on ebay used and at this web site most of the time at a greatly reduced price go here 1st and then check ebay motors http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/product.cfm?p=5466&cs=products%2Ecfm%3Fvt%3D1008%26mk%3D6317%26yr%3D1988 The job done at home will take 10-12 hours, a dealer can do it in about 7-8 hours.

2001 chevrolet truck. the air conditioner works

Check the heater control valve. This valve opens to allow hot coolant into the heater core and closes to cut off the flow. It should be located on or near the firewall behind the engine. It should have coolant hoses attached to it. Look for an arm on the valve which should be attached to a cable coming from the heater controls inside. This arm should activate the opening and closing of the valve. Check to make sure it moves properly.

My heater is not getting hot

If your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light is on, you need to have that checked out first.
If not, the next thing you should check is your engine coolant level. (Antifreeze) If the coolant level is low, the engine coolant does not circulate through the heater core and the the heater doesn't work. The coolant level could be low for a number of reasons including a leaky hose, water pump, or head gasket. In any case, if it is found to be low, you need to find out why.
If the coolant level is OK then the thermostat2.gif function needs to be checked to make sure that the engine is reaching operating temperature.
If all of the above checks out OK, then the heater control valve and/or the blend air door in the HVAC housing needs to be checked for proper operation. (NOTE: some cars are not equipped with a heater control valve)
